Anyone see the piece on ESPN about the four brothers playing for their dad at Linfield? Their grandfather is Meadowlark Lemon. Just caught the very end of it. Hopefully, they will run it again. Pretty cool.  8)

D3football.com did a feature on them...

Yellow Jacket & Jacket Lawyer.......Thank you so much for the info on parking. This will be a big help and I will not have to worry as much about my father now. He still loves a good football game and after all it does not get any better than what we have this Saturday.
You guys are great. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out on this.
Once Again.........Thank you so much !

Tigerftblfan: Not a problem.  Hope you got my email and R-MC can get you guys a spot.  I'd hate for any Tiger fan not to see the whooping they're about to get.

Goes for me too. Ive emailed that link to several Tiger fans who have never been to Ashland. It will go along way to getting us into the stadium on time.

Anyone know of a site that lists the locations and final scores of THE GAME? 112 meetings so far. Interested to see if home field advantage has historically been a factor.

Muchacho as for coy I agree in part it seems Pedro is the most likely recipient of coy.The Game still is the game and means a ton to both institutions. RMC is most probably favored by more than a TD, if either coach can come in and make a statement win that is your COY.

And to think I got to see them play for real and Meadowlark was there and I got to see him, too.  There is something on NWC site where you can get to the video.  It's wonderfully heart-warming!!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

QuoteI'll even go a step further and say with the right match-up, they could win a first round playoff game as well. Yesterday's game in my eyes was between a team playing with confidence and another trying to find it's lost identity. Wink Good luck next weekend!

I agree. Solid Defense, strong line play with a  sturdy RB and timely passes. reminds me of the Eagles of 1999 and 2000. I don't remember which year it was but I'll never forget K-Mack warning "Don't sleep on the water" as the tide began to turn for the BC football fortunes. After BC's trip to the stagg bowl I predicted that eventually the entire conference would benefit from their performance. I think we've seen the fruit this year.

I miss having the Eagles in the post season but I think Pedro and the Jackets have the "right stuff" to get the next ODAC playoff win.

QuoteGO JACKETS!!!  I went to the game yesterday and stopped by the "legendary" Stone Station and taked to The Kid a little while and spoke with several Bridgewater fans and parents after the game even though I am obviously a R-MC fan/parent.  I was impressed by how gracious the BC fans (The Kid and his cohorts included), Coach Clark and even some players were in defeat.

The Llamaguy is All-American in my book. I really appreciate the way you (and other BC fans as well) have helped raise the appreciation for D3 football in its entirety. Even though i haven't been to all the games as in the past, I'm proud to be associated with fans such as the Stone Station Crew.

THANKS! xBCdad

Hello ODAC fans...

I'm from the CCIW board and a Wheaton College fan (and a big fan of former Wheaton great, and current R-MC head coach, Pedro Arruza)

I was hoping to get some insight on the upcoming big game between R-MC and H-SC... maybe from someone who has seen both teams play... and maybe some "informed" predictions.

Thanks in advance for your feedback...

R-MC almost made this week's AFCA Top 25 ... they are "No. 26" ...

Congrats to the Jackets for their national recognition! Well deserved.

You're correct, Olinemom. The link to that video is on the Linfield page. If I were not a techno-idiot, I'd put the link here so it would be easier for all of you to see. It's very good.

I believe that Meadowlark Lemon did the coin toss for the game you saw out here, too.

Nice piece on the Jackets at http://www.d3football.com/columns/around-the-region/midatlantic/2007/The+re-building+blocks+of+success

Both the Jackets and the Tigers get 11 votes in the d3football.com poll.

The game will be webcast by the ODAC.  There's a nice press release about this -- and also about the matchup -- at http://www.d3football.com/pressreleases.php?release=2106

Here's my game prediction:  HSC 35, RMC 28.

Another visitor here from the CCIW board.  As a former Wheaton teammate of Pedro Arruza and a current resident of Virginia, with apologies to my many HSC friends I have to say go Jackets!

Kudos to RMC for giving Pedro time to put his stamp on the program.  Rome wasn't built in a day, but I hope you all realize you have a great coach there, and an even better person.
