skunks, i plan on bringing a case or 2 of micro brew also.  i have a case of sam adams winter mixed, i know its not microbrew, but it is good.  i have a couple of other choices also.  we will certainly be bringing some pa yuengling with us.  i am really looking forward to meeting all the different people who i get to read on this site.  hurry up friday.  we will arrive about 930.  where does everyone hang out on friday.  i need to finalize plans to make sure we get there to partake in some pregame day festivities.  too bad my son has a final and wont be done until about 130, stopping us from leaving earlier.  see you all in salem.

Hey, not a thing wrong with Sam. Technically, they aren't a microbrewery any more but they do a good job with their brews. Being the redneck beersnob that I am, I would like to put my name on one of those Great Lakes Ales.  ;) I should have a six or two of Brooklyn Brown and Stone IPA. I had some Saison Dupont Belgian Farmhouse Ale that I planned to bring but lets just say it won't be making the Stagg Bowl this year.  :D I have been on the road since last Thursday AM and just walked in the door from a mountaintop install in Lebanon, VA. All I can say after fighting tractor trailers on I-81 is.....YUMMY!!!  ;D

Was it difficult installing a mountaintop?

;D :D ;D

I'm just gearing up my humor for the fun starting this Friday! I'm even missing my company Christmas Party for this tailgate party - and I'm a corporate officer!!

Llama,

I spoke to someone at the NJ Booones Farm outlet store. They only sell each color by the case. Even I would get sick drinking 12 bottles of CNU Captain Blue!

I have failed in my attempt to get blue and purple Boones Farm......all the stores around here carry the Apple flavor.  >:( >:( :-\

To all my ODAC and DIII friends, I'm really sorry I will now not be able to attend next Saturday's Stagg Bowl.  I already offered my apology to Llamaguy.

As luck would have it, my boss just changed the company holiday dinner from Friday night to Saturday night at 5:30 pm.  I live 2 hours from Salem and the kickoff is at 4, so you see the problem.  Since I'm one of the four people who lead our plant, I have to go.

Have a great time and know I wish I could be there!  :)

I regret I will also be unable to attend.  While my reasons are different from friend Hasa's, my sentiments are the same.  I hope everyone has a great Stagg Bowl and a joyous holiday season. 8)

Hasa.....sorry you can't make it Sat my friend. I promise at least one toast in your honor.  ;)
Thanks, allsky.  I was very much looking forward to the game and camaraderie.  I'm going to hold you to that toast!  :)

Thanks also to Olinemom.  Sometimes life gives you lemons, but I learned a long time ago to make lemonade.  I'll enjoy the holiday party and someone can text me the score.  :)

As for me I'd try for whiskey sour wit my lemonade!!  But we will do our best!!!

Let me be the first ODAC'er to offer a prediction for Saturday. Last year I felt like UWW had more talent (on paper) and MUC still got it done. My heart is with the Warhawks but they didn't get it done in 06 with a loaded team....don't see it happening in 07.

MUC 38

These boys have been hearing since before the season started that they can't possible be as good because of the talent they lost.  Well, now that they are playing in the Stagg Bowl for the 3rd time, I am hoping that notion will be put to rest finally.  The 07 Warhawks have earned their own identity, win or lose.

I hope the Warhawks win!! I think most would agree (except perhaps MUC fans) that one team dominating the way the Purple Raiders have for the last decade plus is not good. All you can do is tip your cap to one of the greatest dynasties ever in any sport. My prediction is also based on the fact that MUC has dominated all season long and according to my unscientific anaylsis, may be even better than last year. I'm an old school guy and have been fussing all season about the lack of defense played these days. Perhaps the UWW D can shut down the MUC high flying O. I will be more than happy to come back on here and pull off a big drumstick of crow if my prediction is wrong.  8)
     GO WARHAWKS!!

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

I had this dream last night that UWW won the game 3-0 over Mt. Union.  I swear it seemed as real as could be.  But remember what I typed.  It was a dream so take it for what it's worth.  I'm sure more points will be scored so it will be interesting to watch either way from the front row thanks to Llamaguy!!!

See everyone at Stone Station! Got a big menu planned.  Dress warm as the weather is looking to be crappy.  Wind's 15MPH+ and a cold rain on and off all day.
