Why the exodus of players if they are in fact leaving? Coaching staff intact? Grades? I know from the PAST that the staff had no idea if somebody had a academic problem. Unless of course they did not show up one day. ;)

Anyway it's a cool 115 in the shade in downtown Al Taqaddum, the sound of 10 helo's hot fueling on the tarmac, the sound of a large body C17 smacking down on the runway and 2 OPSPREYs screaming overhead. Dust, blistering wind, men in 'man dresses" the usual

Just another day of no football >:(

I didn't know the DC had no coordinating experience. Hope he knows that.

Perhaps the more important question is...does the Academic Coordinator have any experience... ;-)

Ah, we kid because we love!
NO, Tusky, You cannot MOON Dr. Geisert!

Too much going on over on the ODAC hoops boards (for good reason), but I'm more in a football frame of mind. ;D  What's going on?

Hey, Jacketlawyer.  There is a lot of activity on the basketball board, but football season starts in about 2 months!  I think Guilford's at your place this year - maybe we can both make the trip to Ashland.  :)  The Jackets will NOT sneak up on anyone this year!  Personally, I'm looking for some big numbers out of Vogelbach in his Senior season ... I just hope he doesn't get a mid-season injury as he did last fall.

Three home night games for the Quakers this fall - including one on Friday night.  I'm not sure why that decision was made ... I think Friday nights should be reserved for the HS teams.

Yeah, Hasa, we'll have to aim for it again this year, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how the seasons go (know how that is). 8)

I agree, abnrgr!  There were two last season (vs Averett and HSC) and they were special.  This year the Quakers will have three (vs. Greenboro, Methodist and Southern Virginia).  The Greensboro game is always wild anyway - then this year it'll be the opener and a 7 pm start!  I expect a really crazy atmosphere!  Be careful, my man.

Great article on the Randolph-Macon and Hampden-Sydney rivalry on ESPNU web site.

I was scanning the other regional boards last night and saw on one that they were asking for posters to come up with an All Star Team from the posters favorite school. (i.e. Jacketlawyer would come up with his verison of the all time best players at each position at his favorite school and so on).

The region I saw this on had some interesting discussing about the picks of everyone especially those picking the best from the same school. Just something to talk about till camp opens next month. Come on give it a shot.

Make it real fun and include all time best coaching staff.
