And obviously the answer was and is NO...so all you HSC players and fans can stop asking the question and stop spreading false rumors and start worrying about Huntington.

HSC85

I agree with willierobin, the HSC players and fans need to worry about Huntingdon.  Catholic has earned the right to represent the ODAC so far and they should be congratulated for it.

Catholic still needs to finish it out. Not done earning it yet.

Very true.  Catholic's games versus Guilford and Bridgewater are certainly not assumed wins ... and I'm sure the CUA coaching staff and players see it that way also.  I, for one, very much look forward to this weekend's GC Homecoming game versus the Cardinals.  It should be very interesting!

Let's hope that Guilford and RMC win out.   Guess who goes to NCAAs?  How unlikely would that be?

Yep.  Still lots of possibilities with two games to go!

Round One

No question about Huntingdon being a challenge, but they have not had the toughest of schedules. Still, it takes some doing to post 76 points.

Good luck to Vogelbach, I hope he finds his TD form again, and it looks like BC is back on track after a shaky start to the season.

Only way for HSC now is to win out. Win out and a lot of things can happen even if the ODAC championship doesn't fall out of the sky.

Hey, Olinemom and the rest of the Bridgewater crowd!

Sorry about your loss today, and it sounds like your weather was miserable to boot.
We had great weather for our Linfield game, but Willamette really took it to us.

Better luck to you next week against W&L.
We finally won a game.  It felt like forever since that had happened.  The week before had been abysmal, driving rain!  Ugh and all my teams had lost.  Good to hear from you!!! Going to RMC tomorrow with a friend as there weren't enough for a bus! :) :)

Beth Smith and I are coming to RMC tomorrow for the game.  Will Stone Station be set up somewhere and if so where?  We are both bringing food to share, but haven't seen anything here.  Llamaguy told me he would be coming late after a soccer game in the area, but how about any of the rest of us?  You can answer here or PM me.  Thanks in advance!! :) :) :)

If any posters from Guilford or Catholic are at Armfield tomorrow, look me up.  I'm expecting a very high-scoring game.  It's Homecoming and good weather is forecast, so there should be a very nice crowd.  Go Quakers!

He needs 98 to tie and 99 to take the lead ... barring a really strange game, that should happen in the 1st half.  Of course, Mr. Ricca likes to put up big numbers too!  I'll give you a report later in the day.  :)

Catholic University  moves one step closer to caputuring the ODAC Conf. Title with a 49-34 win today over Guilford College.. Catholic improves to 8-1 [4-1] Finishing out the season next Sat at home against Bridgewater
CUA 2001 NCAA  DIII Basketball National Champions

The Generals lose a tough one in OT today.  Some young freshman mistakes cost them a few opportunities.  Caleb Jennings was the best player on the field today and willed EHC to a 3 point win in OT.

Catholic got 530 yards and 5TDs from Ricca setting CUA up for a chance to clinch the title next week vs. Bridgewater.  Hope the ODAC will show that one online as well.  Todays game was fun to watch as Vogelbach broke records for passing yards and all purpose yards.  Ricca looked very impressive.  He probably wrapped up player of the year with this performance today.

HSC held off Huntington 38-34 today and may have made a case for a pool C bid.  I hope both CUA and HSC win next week and the ODAC gets two teams in.

Bridgewater will be a tough game for CUA.   The CUA defense is not very good and showed it can be scored on.  HSC will have a tough game against RMC.  HSC has always dominated this game but RMC has been playing very well lately.  Should be an exciting last week of football.

HSC85

HSC  wins a tough game on the road.  The Tigers made the plays to win the game.  Huntingdon has a very good team.  They have alot of good athletic players on defense and they were disciplined and did not get fooled by misdirection.  Their offense was very explosive.  HSC controlled the ball in the second half and except for a freak interception they were in control of the game.  The Tigers still have a very tough week in preparing for The Game.  RMC is playing great football and will be a challenge.  Good luck Tigers.
