Who wins the 4 way tie that is about to transpire in the ODAC?
Macon perhaps with the longest playoff drought?

Yep, congratulations to RMC for their NCAA berth!  E&H, CUA, HSC and RMC all finish at 4-2!

We discussed a four-way tie in this room a week or so ago and under several scenarios (head-to-head and last playoff trip), it's the Yellow Jackets!

Congrats Jackets. Good luck in the playoffs.
I thought the Jackets might have enough experience to grab the automatic bid. Macon is who I expected to win the ODAC at the start of the year.

Today is a classic example of why they play the games. Crazy...crazy day!! Congrats to the Jackets!!  And to BC and E&H. HOLY SMOKE.....somebody lit some fires under some rear ends this week!!

Congrats to all the R-MC fans here on the boards, and to the players and coaches. Just shows you have to make every play count in the rivalry games. Best of luck in the playoffs.

Thanks to all the well wishers...still trying to figure out where we are going in the next couple weeks, but I will leave all with a few ld have mailed it in, but you guys stuck together, and you fought...and talent will always be glamorous, but TOUGHNESS ALWAYS WINS!!!"  There is nothing like seeing a group of guys completely bought into a team, a coach, and a program as RMC's guys were after that W!!!  The way they left everything out there and that team put all they had on the line for that group of seniors says SO much for Pedro and what he has brought to that program and to RMC.  We are SO proud, and we are READY to travel...here we go to the playoffs!!!!

GO JACKETS!!!!!!!

sorry...my last post should have said " i will leave you with a few words from coach arruzza's post-game speech that said "talent is always glamorous, but TOUGHNESS always WINS!" along with a few words he had about teams at 2-4 that would have struggled to pull their seasons out from the basement, but this team stuck it out WITH EACH OTHER, and fought for a title that they earned
!!  Sorry for the typo in the first post! TOO BUSY CELEBRATING!!!!!  GO JACKETS!!!!!!!!

Congradulations to the Jackets on a BIG win today.  Just goes to show you - thats why you play the game.  I would like to personally send a huge congradulations to the seniors who have stayed for four years to have it all pay off in the end.  I know these guys have put in long hours and they are glad to be playing another week.

As for my comments on the game:

I think from the opening kickoff, the jackets (and their fans) had much more intensity.  (I am trying to say this with the least amount of bias as possible)  The tigers just looked to be flat for much of the game.  A huge credit goes out the Macon defense who held Josh Simpson to 20 yards rushing and Sydney as a team to 28.  That I feel is one of the biggest statistics of the game.  Last year Simpson ran wild for 168 yards which could be attributed to his injury.  Overall the Jackets played one heck of game and they deserve to go to the playoffs.

Cheer for an R-M-C victory....

Congratulations to RMC and good luck in the playoffs.  Crazy game and worthy of the rivalry.  There will be things on both sides that people will talk about for years.  The Jackets earned it and I respect their effort.

Good luck with the trip to Alliance,OH to take on Mount Union.
Let's go RMC Jackets.

Howdy RMC fans! For any of you making the trip to A-town you have a few choices of where to stay...Holiday Express and a Comfort Inn plus a few less expensive places. Sorry, but there are no hotels/motels close to the college. And please note...it's November in Ohio and you'll be sitting in open stands facing west so ya better bring some warm clothes.

Have a safe trip!
