Long time MUC fan here. read these boards alot, but don't post much. To all ODAC fans, please excuse any "cockeyness" on the part of our fans. Of course, I hope MUC wins but nothing would thrill our fans more then to see a close game. Good luck to your team, and safe travel to all.

RMC fans enjoy the ride. The playoffs are a wonderful experience for a program and something to build from. Players and fans alike should cherish these opportunities. I can still remember some of Mount's early playoff games with Dayton and Wisconsin LaCrosse. Even the losses, though difficult, were a great experience.

BTW, as of this morning, the weather looks like a high of 32 with a possibility of light snow in the morning. We may have a few inches on the ground from a winter storm hitting the area today and Friday. Safe travels to all.

What response do you expect? I think ODAC fans and Randolph-Macon fans know what they're up against. Coming over here trolling for a fan to provide you some entertainment is not really necessary.

Thanks Pat.  Yes, we know what we're up against.

MUC game notes for Saturday, just in case anyone is interested.

This was interesting.  You're undefeated, your lowest score all year was only in the 30s, and your guy Kmic rushes for over 200 per game.

You have much to be confident about.

Jacketlawyer--

Are you going to be able to make it up for the game?  After our multiple posts about Guilford last year and the various other conversations on the ODAC board, I would enjoy the opportunity to meet you in person.

RMC fans - As a MUC poster who ventured far from Alliance after graduation, this site provides me with an opportunity to follow the program and communicate with other Raider fans.  It's not easy to follow any DIII program through the media unless you live in the immediate area.  Some MUC fans don't have the opportunity to follow the team as closely as others so we really appreciate the stats and insight provided by those who do.

Enjoy your time in Alliance.  It's a great experience.  I hope your team has a good day and plays well, but I won't be rooting for you to win.

Even more interesting is that Kmic rarely played in the 2nd half of games.

Our QB is also a Double Major in Math/Physics (I think) and a Draddy Award Finalist.

Good Luck and Safe Travels this weekend!

Hey look, to all the MUC fans posting on this site.  We all understand that the Raiders are a great team year in and year out and that they are "The Program" in D3.   So there is no need to continue to educate us about what little chance RMC has on this Sat.  We are all aware.
While the RMC players and coaches are excited about competing against the best they are very aware of the challenge in front of them.  This is the first and maybe the only opportunity these players will have to participate in the NCAA playoffs so let them enjoy the moment.  Maybe some day RMC will build a program where post season play and national championships are the norm and not the exception and their fans can post how great they are and how the opposing team doesn't have a chance.  Oh by the way, do any of you MUC fans have anything to do with the program being so good?   :D

Well no offense intended but I have not read any 'hey we are great you guys suck so just stay home' posts. For the most part the MUC people are just looking to see who's coming and providing tips on the weather. Most of the posts mention to enjoy the playoff experience...have safe travels..etc. Now if that is what qualifies as "smack" talk or 'rubbing your face in it' in your book....well get a new book. The exception to this is the post from Toph - but as his picture indicates he is a JCU guy. Mount Union has no responsibility for JCU guys (just kidding Toph).

Safe travels to all the RMC faithful and here is hoping for a great, injury free game.

Have a great trip to Alliance. I think the fans here will welcome you and wish your team an injury free game. You may run into the few who will imbibe too much prior to the game and get obnoxious but the majority of us will be gracious. Enjoy the trip and make it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame if you get the chance. It's well worth the time and effort.

Glad to hear something's never change. I've been to Alliance. I thought it sucked!
As stated above, MUC punks will come over to your side and heckle, and not  be stopped by security or MUC staff.

95% of the MUC fanbase are first class, but they really need to have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drunk heckling fans. That's all I remember about the trip.

They should have practiced harder.
