Hey oilcan,,I was at that game too,,some of your fans even came onto the Gulling center( weight training facility) to try to steal some recruits that were visiting. I was "working" that day or I would have started tailgating much sooner  !!!  and yes it was a cold day,,and it will be this weekend ,,break out the coldgear  !!

To RMC fans,, new teams playing Mount usually  have their best chance to win in the first game between the schools. Once Coach LK has a chance to play you,,he seems to know you better the 2nd time ,, and so on

Yeah, if only someone could have recruited Chuck Moore away from MUC for one 95 yrd play, my college football life would have been complete. Not to mention I wouldn't have to see that Nat'l Championship ring on your finger every time we tailgate.  :D :D :D

Good times in D3 land.

ps. Don't worry, UVA still doesn't get the Stone Station treament reserved for D3 fans. See you at the Stagg Bowl!  ;)

Is 11AM dictated by ESPN?

Yes.

Thanks Pat. Realized what a "duh" question that was after I posted it.   :D

Congratulations Macon!!!  You're in the show!  Be proud, play hard, and have fun!!
And remeber, three out of the last four losses Mount Union has had in the last few years, we're at home.

And three out of the last four losses have been in the playoffs (two at home and one in Salem).

Sorry if anyone took offense with Mount posters but many of us have made friends with a lot of folks on this board and assumed we were welcome.

Safe trips to all that are coming. Snow is falling hard in Northest Ohio as I write this.

Snake:  Would being on the short end of a 66-0 drubbing have slanted your views a little?  ;)
Not really. I guess I just assumed that a team that wins as much as Mount Union would have been able handle winning a little better than it did that day.

What did the Team do to offend you?  I believe you related incidents you had with some fans, not the team.

Handle it a little better? They kicked field goals on 1st down 3 times and had a punt returner step out of bounds at the 10-yard line instead going in for a touchdown. What more can a coach do when the 3rd string fullback up the middle call can't be stopped?

Just curious?  Do the MUC fans feel the need to bombard the chat rooms of everyteam they play and inform the other fans just how impressive their team, program and fans are?

Well, normally the OAC boards this time of year are full of fans from the opposing team of the week crowing about how MUC has never seen the likes of the team that they're going to face on Saturday.

BTW, what's wrong with some friendly banter before the game?  What's wrong with making an attempt to get to know the opposing fan base?  It would appear that there is little to no support for the ODAC in this board judging by the lack of posts from the ODAC fan base.

Anyway, best of luck to RMC as they travel to my home town on Monday.  Though I live in NOVA my heart is still with Mount Union and Ohio State football.

raiderfan1983

If this is bombarding a board, then the Johnnie fans dropped "Fat Man" on the WIAC board.  That is the type of banter I'm used to leading into a playoff game.
They should have practiced harder.
