College hitting on the rise? That would mean lower seams on baseballs having their desired effect -- less pitcher's stuff. Balls put into play this year hoping to boost offense and compensate for the recent year change in metal bat composition to lessen the "trampoline" effect.

jdex,
You need to send us some of that Florida weather. Snowing again today here in Plattsburgh. No green grass to be found. The 5 day forecast doesn't offer much in the way of spring either. 29 degrees tomorrow and still only 38 next Tuesday and Wednesday. No global warming in the North Country this year.

jdex, I asked earlier but didn't get a reply. Did you get a chance to see any of the SUNYAC teams play when they were in Florida?

Just read your PM. Will try and respond in the next day or so. Weather creating havoc with spring sports in the North Country as usual. More snow overnight...at least it wasn't much, but white stuff this time of year is still depressing. :P
