Oswego rises from the ashes Saturday to trim Oneonta 8-6 in 10 innings at chilly Oneonta. Lakers sweep conference series although requiring down-to-the-last-strike resusitation in the finale. Never trailing, RDragons --- getting terrific K. Roper 138 pitch effort -- take 5-3 lead into Oswego top of the ninth. Roper retires first two Lakers. J. Levine walks. P. Tamarro rbi single to right cuts deficit to 5-4. R. Enos sends fly to center that's misplayed as tying run scores. Oswego opens 10th with G. Olsson, R. Weiss singles and frosh T. Featherstone home run to left-center.
  Oneonta turns four hits into three runs in the third inning. R. Weiss first of his two home runs puts Oswego on the board in the fourth when wild pitch scores a second run. In the fifth, L. New Paltz Dean Stalzer slugs grand slams in eighth and ninth innings -- his third home run of the game -- to bring Hawks back for 18-17 conquest of Fredonia in conference Saturday outing at New Paltz. Stalzer finishes with 12 rbi, 4x5, 4r, bb!!!! Stalzer three-run blast puts Hawks ahead 4-2 in the first inning. They fell behind 8-7 when P. Bigham hits grand slam in Fredonia fourth raps. BDevils extend lead to 13-8 in the seventh.  Stalzer slam in the eighth propels Hawks to 14-13 lead that was soon wiped away by four-run Fredonia top of the ninth.
