Pecheco opens with disputed triple to left where fielder M. Bruno gloves but loses the ball banging into the fence. First called an out, umps gather and overturn. Lengthy controversy ensues. Back in play, next pitch to K. Grabowski goes for home run to start the Endicott merry-go-round. When dust settles, 15 Gulls go to bat in the inning. J. Millar winds up spree with three-run homer to right. Pecheco (3x4, 2r, bi, 3bh), Grabowski (4x5, 3r, 5bi, 2hr), and Millar (2x5, 2r, 3bi, hr) all have two hits in the inning. I. Anybody over here know why NY state received 3 NCAA Regionals and New England none. New England teams had to travel hundreds of miles while Courtland, Brockport, U Rochester played home games???!!!  Personally thought the U of Rochester facility and broadcast was mediocre, and wonder how they picked it?

Could be worse...three SCIAC teams that played in the conference tourney last week went straight back to the same spot and played the regional. I realize the West teams are on an island, but that just plain sucks.

Joe Brown is one of my favorite coaches in any sport so I always keep an eye on the Red Dragons.

Gordon, certainly tough one for JB to end on yesterday! Am sure some soul-searching after pulling McCarthy in the eighth. Know his thinking .....McCarthy hadn't tossed many innings all season. Went above and beyond in this instance .....just didn't work out. Joe hunting for arms all spring, from start to finish. Reliable ones hard to find. Am sure coach knew his club could hit and score, but pitching ......ugh!!!! Figured Durant would be the ace. Fusco stepped up, but ..... Wound up to be Flansburg. But entire staff appeared a bit weary as season progressed.
Always thought Oswego was team to beat this season .....bats aplenty and pretty good frontline and down-the-line arms. Certainly hope they can get to WS ...
Lots of rosters changing next season ..........conference teams in '22 chock full of last year quality players on all fronts.
