Oneonta beats a very good Skidmore team on the road in a predictably low-scoring game, 4-2.

Much credit to Oneonta -- now at 27 wins and having the fortitude to go on the road against a good team. The way it should be.

What are the chances that Truthfinder runs like Beautiful in the Time Haters skit?

cstate19

By the way Truthfinder, someone asked you were cut by Doorey and you never really answered.  I was kind of thinking the same thing since I can't possibly imagine having so much hate for a D3 coach, but then again you are Silky Johnson so anything is possible.

Truthfinder

Chappelle's Show went off the air like a decade ago, right? Just checking, because you all seem rather obsessed with it.

Ron Ron

"Chapelle's show premiered on January 22, 2003 on the American cable television network Comedy Central. The show ran for two complete seasons and a third, truncated season (dubbed "The Lost Episodes").  After numerous delays, production of the third season of the show was abruptly ended when Chappelle left the show. Three episodes were compiled from the completed work and these episodes aired from July 9 to July 23, 2006."

I'd say 4 years ago is a lot different than a decade...

Also, still a fantastic show, so the fact that it went off the air 4 years ago should have nothing to do with 1. its messages 2. its hilariousness or 3. Silky Johnson's resemblance to yourself Truthfinder.

Imagine.
When Chappelle's Show was born, Plattsburgh had no SUNYAC tournament wins.
All this time later, so much has changed.

A serious question for the Manbearpigs and Jack31s among you: If Cortland doesn't win the tourney and either Oneonta or Brockport takes the automatic spot, how will Doorey give himself the Pool C berth?

cstate19

Silky this is now the second time you have avoided the question.  Did Doorey cut you?

Its kind of sad either way.  If Plattsburgh is as awful as you say then its sad that you got cut.  If you didn't get cut its sad that you wold have so much anger towards a D3 coach.

Truthfinder

I've never met the Plattsburgh coach. The only SUNYAC coaches I know have won something.

Truthfinder

See you all Friday.
I'll be here around 3:30.
Until then, watch more Chappelle's show. Go Brockport!

John McGraw

Plattsburgh vs. Prince......Game, blouses.

Oh Truth had to have been cut.  How else would he know who i was?

And to answer his question, Silky is right, i never won a SUNYAC playoff game.

here is my question.  What does that have to do with the current Plattsburgh baseball team?

Most of the players on the current team are young and HAVE won a playoff game and HAVE won 30 games in a season.  Thats more than i ever did in a season and sure more than you.  It is still a young team that will only get better.

Oh and silky, i don't believe in "due's."  I believe in making good pitches and bad pitches and thats about it.

hello all, i am new to this site as a member. i have read some post here and there since the site was created but never wanted to get in on the action. but with all this talk about plattsburg and the tournament right around the corner i had to get in. first off let me say that the whole plattsburg talk has been drawn out for far too long and really needs to stop to keep this site legit. never thought i would see a chapelle show reference on a baseball website. both sides make good arguments for and against plattsburg. if plattsburg goes 2 and out which they probably will and they still get into ncaas oh well. good for them. the committee wont let it happen though so dont worry truth. in my opinion plattsburg like oneonta and brockport have to win the tournament to get in ncaa's.

now lets talk real tournament stuff. cortland is the favorite obviously. oneonta has filak, brockport has a decent lineup, and plattsburg has 2 pitchers that they will use the entire tournament like they do every year. oneonta needs to have someone else other than filak to pitch a good game this weekend. brockport needs to catch alot of breaks, and plattsburg needs each team to come down with a serious illness that they cant play because they have no shot. and cortland will have to have just an awful weekend to not win this thing. they might lose to filak but they have enough depth to make it out of the losers bracket. my predicitons:

oneonta wins vs cortland
brockport wins vs platts

oneonta wins vs brockport
cortland wins vs platts
cortland wins vs brockport

cortland wins both on sunday, cortland champs. just another year for a close call but no one can get it done vs cortland.

31.3.3.5 Removal of Committee Member from Selection Process. If a team or individual athlete(s) of
the institution of a member of the governing sports committee is under consideration for selection, that person shall withdraw from the committee deliberations while that team or individual(s) is being considered and shall not participate in any discussion or vote affecting that particular selection.

Would that include, you know, letting the committee know by e-mail of various team records set, etc? Would that be considered "discussion?"

Hmmm.

Im not saying this comment with hatred or to keep hating on plattsburgh.........This is a serious question.....I realize there is a big formula that goes into SOS but how is plattsburgh #14 SOS.....I looked at their schedule and the hardest games they played were in conference.

Kski

Very legitimate point.  I don't know how it could be that way either.  Plattsburgh's biggest tests have been in-conference.  I don't know anything about the SOS formula, but it's hard to argue with numbers... they don't usually lie.  Knowing Plattsburgh's schedule definitely makes it hard for me to believe that they have faced a touch schedule, as the numbers suggest.
