Cortland moves into Sunday final with 6-2 win over Oneonta behind A. Schuldt complete game. OSt faces Brockport in elimination game today

Brockport takes out Oneonta 12-3. Eagles score four in the sixth, five in the eighth. Play Cortland Sunday at noon. Second game to follow if needed

Brockport sends tourney to deciding game with 5-3 victory. Four run fifth inning for Eagles features C. Booth two-run double and M. Zimmerman two-run HR. S. Locke works 6 innings for win, 4h, 4bb, 5K. T. Ratliff the loser in 6.2 innings, 6h, 5r, 4er, 5bb, 3K. Corts score three in the ninth and have tying run at the plate. A. Siracusa gets final out via K. RDragons have boatload of late chances, strand 13.  Title game first pitch around 3.

Cortland captures crown over spunky Brockports 2-1. Port tallies in the fourth on T. McCormick rbi. More CSt harm averted as shortstop J. Adornetto makes terrific inning ending play. Corts pull even in their fourth when J. Fredenberg knocked one in. Fredenburg has leadoff single to trigger fateful seventh. Bunted to second and T. Panetta pokes rbi double to right. M. Mahay goes 7 innings, 8h, 1er, 1bb, 6k. B. Hourihan comes on over final two hitless frames, 3k, 0bb. M. Ciccotti tough-luck loser in 6.1 innings, 1bb, 2k. A. Tilley finishes 0h, 0bb, 0k

Cortland sophomore Zack Graczyk (Carmel) was named the tournament Most Valuable Player. He batted .563 (9-for-16) with two walks, three steals and four runs scored in four games. Also named to the all-tournament team were Michael Mahay (Whitesboro), Mike Assmann (Auburn), Aaron Schuldt (Liverpool), Justin Fredenburg (Saugerties) and Matt June (Colonie) from Cortland, Mike DeGregory, Jake Coleman and Max Zimmerman from Brockport, Jimmy Briggs from New Paltz and Christopher Smith from Oneonta.
