In correction to jdex Brockport picked up that win vs kean not mount st Mary. Quite the win for the eagles program. They then defeated Baruch 4-2 for a 2-0 start. New Paltz so far at least seems to just be grann and chismar for their staff but time will tell.  Be interesting to see if bports made a significant step or kean simply has a lesser team, I'm interested to see how things continue.

Am just going by the SUNYAC board ......granted, not always the most accurate. Still showing the Port over Mt. St. Mary 7-5 on Sunday at Newburgh (NY we assume). And the Port at Kean on Saturday postponed ........You're probably the better source.

Just used both teams athletic sites for the info. Guess they switched around their schedule a bit after weather postponed Saturday.  Big start for the eagles also seen chismar had quite the performance with 15ks over 6 IP vs Baruch well done Chris keep it up.

Actually, Oneonta dropped a pair in Baltimore to Johns Hopkins, 9-8 and 4-0. Second game called in the sixth. We gotta stop relying on SUNYAC board

Oswego shades College of NJ 10-8 in Ewing

Oneonta (1-5) splits with St. Mary's (Md), losing 2-1 before a 1-0 victory. Some standout RDragon pitching in what appears seven inning games. Soph A. Mastrianni takes 1-0 lead into the sixth in the opener but allows the two runs. OSt scores in the third inning when C. Orlando's single plates the run. Soph M. Mastroianni's two hits include a double. The second game features soph S. Ascher's five-hit, seven strikeout performance through 6.1 innings. Sr J. Hegmann records the save. Orlando's sixth inning sac fly chases home the only run. Oneonta meets Frostburg on Sunday in Emmitsburg, Md.

Yup, a Mastrianni, and a Mastroianni, and Orlando, and on we go, paisans! C. Romano, R. Peluso, M. Salvatore, LJ Gizzarelli, S. Provenzano ......... all Red Dragons. Do we see The Godfather lurking?

Cortland got lucky with this week being their Spring Trip week.  It seems just about everyone else in Central NY and the down state area are postponing games this weekend and will not play any games for almost 2 full weeks since their last ones.
