Baseball News' weekly ABCA (coaches) top 30 poll:

1. LaGrange GA (38-4), 2. Wisc-Whitewater (32-6), 3. Texas Tyler (37-7), 4. Johns Hopkins MD (36-6), 5. Birmingham Southern AL (36-8), 6. Centenary LA (34-8), 7. Cortland (33-7), 8. Shenandoah VA (36-8), 9. Oswego (28-8), 10. Wooster OH (32-8)
   22. St. John Fisher (28-8), 31. RIT receives votes

Cortland up one spot, Oswego stays the same

Jim Dixon

Posted elsewhere but it is worth a mention here. Oswego and Cortland did benefit as neither got two losses in their tournament, making Cortland's chances for a bid that much stronger.

Any guesses on which NY teams, particularly SUNYAC, may be sent out of region??

I'm a frequent visitor to the Little East and New England boards for various sports, but sometimes venture over to the SUNYAC, especially for basketball (just ask magicman).  Anyway, good luck to the SUNYAC teams in the NCAA's, and here are the brackets they are in.  You can click to make these graphics bigger and move left and right with the scroll bar that appears below the post.

Looks cool -- something to keep in mind with six-team regionals is that there are two possibilities for how the bracket goes down. It diverges after Game 6, depending on whether one team or two teams have been eliminated by that point.

Thank you!  I was aware that something was off, even though I copied it right from something from the NCAA.  I guess depending on what happens, I will adjust it as I post the results.   ;D

I had to take some time to move on from the game after my second career World Series trip did not end in our favor in 2014, but glad to reconnect with Coach Brown this year. Didn't get to see much of Cortland this year (just game 1 of the double header on Easter Sunday and listened in whenever I could while working in NYC), but saw the potential in the team's hitting. Hoping JB'a pitchers can continue their strong season and hold up during this brutal 8 team regional. Worst format ever, by the way... can't wait for the new regional/super regional format to take place. Stop the noise, JB! We are C-State!

Quite the Oswego comeback in regional opener. Lakers score four in the bottom of the ninth to nip Ithaca 11-10 on W. Randall's two-run bases loaded single. IC pitching implodes in the final frame. Uses four in the inning. Walks set up Oswego rally before Randall delivers his fourth hit. Finishes 4x5, 2r, 2bi, bb. Bombers' S. Little 4x5, 3r, 2bi, hr. Ithaca 15-11 hit advantage. T. Cronin pitches first six inning for Oswego, B. Nolan the final three. Oswego 3-0 first inning lead but trails 8-3 into a four-run home sixth. IC adds two runs in the ninth including A. Gallagher solo home run.

Well fought game by Oswego, it's going to be very difficult for someone to challenge them tomorrow. Great thing for New York baseball! Cortland off to a hot start in the first inning of their game against Earlham.... seem to have their started timed well, could be a rough day for the Quakers if this continues all game. Hope JB has the pitching to make it through this tournament. Would love to see 2 SUNYAC teams face off in Appleton.

They won't make a team play three games on one day.

That certainly makes sense.
Was just going by how schedule currently lays out (Mideast preview). Then assume should Cortland survive Game 12 and Game 13, Game 14 would carry into Monday
