I suspect if you run a DNA test on that fella, we'll find that due to some scandalous behavior at lookout point back in the 1950s, he is a distant relative of Bucky Badger.

Nothing that fits the "nice tour across several other conferences during the regular season".

• In 2006-07 The Belt^TM started the season with Virginia Wesleyan in the ODAC.  That season the tour went from ODAC to USAC for five games before going back to the ODAC during the regular season.  Virginia Wesleyan possessed The Belt^TM on three separate occasions.
• In 2021-22, Illinois Wesleyan of the CCIW started the season with The Belt^TM.  For one game The Belt^TM went to the SAA (Berry) before going back to the CCIW.  Illinois Wesleyan again held The Belt^TM going into the conference tournament.
