If we don't watch it, this thread will catch on fire like Daytona's track. But The-BeltTM will live on.

The Legal WeasalTM may have to file an injunction to stop the quoting of the quote pyramidTM.   Clearly there cannot be two objects of such lustrous quality in the same thread.  This has to be violation of trademark law........or supersweetness anyway.

I don't think that the Legal WeaselTM is lead counsel on matters concerning the quote pyramidTM. That would be handled by a different Animal ThingTM altogether, namely the Legal QuetzecoatlTM:

You need the right Animal ThingTM for the right legal job. And nobody knows pyramids like the Legal QuetzecoatlTM.

I was thinking it was the Legal AxolotlTM. Maybe he's in the same firm?

As I asked before, can we be sure that The BeltTM is not in fact the magnificent spawn of the Glorious Quote PyramidTM?

smedindy

I think it may be the other way around. My sacred text interpretation shows The-BeltTM has primacy.

What have I done.
I totally miss my editing privileges. I can't even edit my own posts. :(
I would have recommended that you enter the "Witness Protection Program" that is set up for the Security Detail when one of the guards hired by "The-BeltTM", LLC retires.

The Legal AxolotlTM is the counsel we'll consult when we start a d3boards.com room that debates whether an amputee basketball player who has new limbs grafted on loses his eligibility if the new limbs belonged to the cadaver of a college graduate.

Actually I think that is a violation of belt rules - you must give full attention to the belt when discussing or even thinking of the belt.

I can confirm the the illustrious D-III Championship BeltTM was not spawned from a pyramid or any other three-dimensional shape. To suggest The BeltTM was begotten by an inanimate 8th grade geometry class object is bordering on blastphemy. The BeltTM was simply a flicker of divine inspiration that occured ro a much younger Just Bill while sitting on a sofa rescued from a curbside dumpster in one of America's great college towns, while surrounded by individuals with similar blood-alcohol content levels.

That said, I have no objection to the Glorious Quote Pyramid as it seems to be a kindred spirit to that essence which The BeltTM possesses. Carry on all ye who have entered here and those who shall come after!

Here's the complete history of the 61 pages of the D-III Championship BeltTM, Abridged...

"Hey, here's an idea"
"Sure let's try it"
"This is kind of fun"
"Let's not get carried away" - Pat
"Baubles and Gewgaws"
"What if an NAIA team gets it?"
"They can't"
"Yes, they can"
"No, they can't"
"43-man Squamish"
"Trademarked!"
"A whole summer in Stevens Point doesn't sound like fun"
"How do we transport this thing"
"Photoshopping!"
"Go Crown!"
"Maybe we need an ark"
"Go Caltech!"
"Legal Weasel"

There. That about covers it. Fill in anything I missed.

I can't listen to the USTREAM of Hoopsville last night but am very interested.   I am an Albertus alumni/player/fan and would liek to know what the St Joe's coach discussed on hoopsville, is there anything on youtube?  I would be curious as to his thoughts on the matchup?
