This is a sad day in the history of The BeltTM, it was fun while it lasted hypen, we'll always remember your winter in California.

Seems fitting that whoever gets the belt next will indeed be beating the defending champs.

We've been over this before.  The weasels and I go way back, long before the belt.  They're not coming after me.

The BeltTM will be staying in southern Wisconsin for a few more days, at least, as UWW knocks off St. Thomas to take official possession of ItTm for the time being.

Whether or not UWW holds on, The BeltTM will remain in Whitewater thru the weekend - UWW has just been announce as a sectional host.

Solar flare disrupting electrical grids and navigation systems? Convenient excuse to explain the aura of The BeltTM.

James Van Allen discovered the two most important belts in terms of sustaining life on Earth. Just Bill discovered the third.

(Incidentally, Van Allen received his bachelor of science degree from future D3 member Iowa Wesleyan College.)

Van Allen's belts are filled with radiation. Just Bill's BeltTM is just rad.

Whitewater defended The BeltTM.  VWC or UWW will get the opportunity to carry The BeltTM to Salem.  ;D

Whitewater carries The BeltTM to Salem.

Any truth to the rumor that they plan to take it to Salem in an Olympic torch-like relay visiting as many D3 cities, towns and villages, as possible, along the way?

It hasn't been updated in awhile but Eastern Greene carried it to the Indiana 2A 'quarterfinal' and lost it to Providence.   Providence will play Park Tudor in the Semi's on Saturday.

I'm quite pleased that it escaped the big-school clutches and is now in the hands of the 'little guys'. And yes, I'm still totally bitter about the loss of the one-class hoops tourney in Indiana.
