If they were willing to store it down the road they could have used Fort Knox.

You need a little more than a wooden stick and a garlic necklace to get past security there I hear.

Soldiers with rifles don't scare me as much as vampires.  Good god, haven't any of you seen The Lost Boys?

And Knox (College) is not that scary - they only recently made it off the winless list! ;)

It might have done something for me if the head vampire (Edward Herrmann) wasn't shilling for Chrysler on the side.

Ya know they should have known it was Edward all along...........never trust a man with two first names.

I also didn't know they made a sequel.

The Pioneers have retained the Belt another week! However, I am feeling alot of pressure being the official spokesperson from Transylvania. Hopefully, TU will keep winning and we will have visitors for the Conferency Tourney. It was an electric enviroment in 2005 when TU made the Elite 8 run.
For those wishing for a sneak peak from "Vampire Land," I invite you to go youtube and seach "let it bain." There is a short clip from the semifinals of Heartland Tourney. Unfortunately, the video only shows a short clip of a miracle come from behind win as Marc "Bain" hit 4 consecutive 3's (from deep). I was at the game and student section had a handful of umbrellas they put up.

Enjoy!

Is it true that after the next home game the local bar........"Counts", is having a have a belt with the belt promotion?

kyballr,

Transy won possession of The BeltTM when they beat Anderson back on Jan. 17th. They keep it until someone beats them. Below is the history of who has held The BeltTM so far this year.

Once again the D3 Championship BeltTM has moved, this time to Lexington, KY as the Transylvania Pioneers take down conference rival Anderson 80-69.

Start-Dec. 19 - Washington Univ. Who lost it to Elmhurst
Dec. 20-Jan. 2 - Elmhurst    Who lost it to Anderson
Jan. 3-Jan. 17 - Anderson  Who lost it to Transy
Jan. 17-Present- Transylvania

Thanks Magic... Hope  it likes southern hospitality and stays a while....at least one Lex team is winning....come on CATS! ;D

I'll give a Karma point to the first poster that can take that picture of the Transy player from the front page and photoshop the BeltTM onto him.  I won't be picky if the depiction of the BeltTM isn't completely accurate, since no one can cast their gaze directly on the BeltTM for any extended period of time anyway.
