And I can't get to C'ville when I have a day long function in Minnesota on Saturday.  :-\

Wabash has kept The BeltTM! Ok, it was against Kenyon and Denison, yes, but The BeltTM is on its way to the NCAC tourney where three of the last four holders will be in attendance.

With Wooster earning hosting rights and Wabash bringing The BeltTM back to town, I notice that it is possible that The Belt TM would be wrested from an opponent five times this season on the hardwood at Wooster's Timken Gymnasium.  The BeltTM has already staged three transfers of power at Timken this year, on back-to-back nights between Wash U, Translyvania and Wooster, and then later between Wooster and Wittenberg.

Has The BeltTM ever expressed a similar preference for drama in one BeltTM venue in a season?

If The BeltTM really has its druthers, it could even be exchanged a sixth...or seventh time on Wooster's court if the Scots were to win this weekend and then earn hosting rights in the NCAA tourney.  Maybe The BeltTM is carrying on a tryst with another Wooster uniform...

I think we are witnessing history being made here!

Perhaps Just Bill should also license The SporranTM to present to the school whose gymnasium sees the most BeltTM exchanges in one season.

Very interesting.  Although if Greg just put a TM on that I think he's claimed licensing rights.  Darn it.

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

Wabash no doubt enjoyed their temporary custody of the BeltTM, but just like an overdue library book, they had to give it back to the team they borrowed it from, as Wittenberg upended the Little Giants tonight, 61-60, at Wooster's Timken Gym.

Tomorrow night, Wittenberg will have the opportunity to also return the BeltTM whence it came into their possession, as they will face the hosts and regular season champion Wooster in the NCAC championship game.  The winner will have the honor of parading the BeltTM into the NCAA tournament arena.

Have we ever had a case of reciprocity with the BeltTM? We could have double reciprocity if Wooster beats Witt.

Wabash Always Fights?  Not this weekend.
Tiger Up?  Tiger Down!
Wooster reclaims the BeltTM with an 88-77 victory over their archrivals, and will proudly take it into the NCAA tournament with plans to hand-deliver it to the Salem Civic Center.  The BeltTM will probably be glad to see the door of Timken Gym, as it changed hands twice more in that venue this weekend.

Might as well just set up The RingTM in Timken Gym, with all The BeltTM exchanging going on.

Not so fast, the Scots may host...

Yes, but Wooster is 7-1 in games at Timken with the BeltTM at stake.  Plus, my bracket projections (everybody's doing them, why not me?) have Wooster hosting surprise Pool C candidates Earlham, Bluffton, and Alma next weekend, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Make that 9-1!  Sadly, the Scots will have to take their defense of The Belt TM on the road to tobacco country and win on the road or at neutral sites here on out if they hope to bring the belt back to Timken where it seems to be more than comfortable!  8-)

Do it for The Belt TM Wooster!!!  ;D

OMG, is this really true?  Is the BeltTM coming to Guilford?
This is so exciting!

I think it passed briefly through our hands once or twice before, but to see it, to hold it...
