I can see the BeltTM traveling on the streets and avenues of the Twin Cities metro area, or perhaps a short jaunt down to Northfield. Maybe down to St. Peter if the Gusties get frisky. But definitely in the Star-Tribune circulation area!

I wonder if the sports yakkers will say that the Tommies are the best team in Twin Cities. (Of course, the Slumberwolves would kill 'em, but the Gophers were so awful in February that the Tommies could give 'em a game! )

PS - Sac, you forgot your superscript TM in your post. Tsk. Tsk. Improper protocol. 2 minutes in the box and a free kick. The next penalty means your choice of penalties in either Calvinball or 43-man Squamish.

Mr. Ypsi

Do the Tommies yet have an out-of-conference schedule posted?

Are they likely to step back a bit with their graduation losses?

Do they play Crown?

I suppose belts everywhere weep when a great wrestler dies. RIP Macho Man Randy Savage.

Mark November 22nd on your calendar, BeltTM maniacs.

After a season-opening road trip to California (facing Oxy and Pomona-Pitzer). St. Thomas will face a real test as it travels to Wisconsin - River Falls. The BeltTM could change hands early in the season!

Tomorrow, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, it begins anew. Guard it well, ye Tommies of Minnesota, for while many desire and covet your treasure, only one can hold the one, true BeltTM.

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

BeltTM is in danger of changing hands. River Falls up at the half over the Tommies!

The BeltTM did not stay for long in St. Paul this season. UW-River Falls takes posession of it with a convincing 79-64 win over the Tommies.

Next up for the Falcons, a long roadie. Games at Pacific Lutheran on Friday, and against Puget Sound in Parkland, WA on Saturday.

If they come back from the Pacific Northwest its looking like the belt will be roaming Wisconsin this year.

Cheese is good so its not all bad.

Mr. Ypsi

On the other hand, if The BeltTM does get captured on that road trip, how long might it stay in the Pacific Northwest?  Just Bill, has The BeltTM been properly protected from mold and mildew? 8-)

When it someday makes it to the CCIW, we don't wanna have to deal with some mangy old thing! ;D

Ralph Turner

Has The BeltTM ever been in serious danger of being kidnapped by an NAIA school?

AO

I believe the belt isn't up for grabs in a game against a non-D3, but if it were, it could end up in Canada and never return.  River Falls loses to North Central who loses to Providence of Otterburne, Manitoba.

Greek Tragedy

I'm presuming D3 only, because if it isn't, it could end up in Duke's hand somehow.

The belt is only for d3.
