I'm pretty sure Daffy's look replicates the look on most people's faces the first time they lay eyes on The BeltTM

The BeltTM is headed back to Pomona-Pitzer as they knock off Redlands 74-68

I know Just Bill told us how The BeltTM was passed around the UAA conference repeatedly a few years ago but I wonder if any team has won The BeltTM 3 times in a 24 day span. That may be a new record. (And one that will be hard to beat) I'm thinking the Sagehens enjoyed winning The BeltTM so much, the first time they did so, that they are deliberately tanking in their defense of The BeltTM just so they can win it again and again.

Gregory Sager

You'd think that The BeltTM would be opposed to that sort of capricious and self-serving behavior on the part of the Sagehens and would therefore block them from re-acquiring ItTM. But the ways of The BeltTM are mysterious and deep.

Congratulations Hoops Fan! I've decided to honor your brilliant insight in my signature panel. The first response ever made about the D3 Championship BeltTM thread sums it up perfectly and efficiently. Amazing to think you've never said anything half as profound since then.  ;)

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

Bill, I want that hour back that you just made me spend reading all 54 pages of the saga of The BeltTM.

An Aaron Van Klaveren free-throw with 2 seconds left has given Cal Lutheran The BeltTM 47-46.

We should all rejoice as The BeltTM in its infinite greatness has chose this moment to take itself to our most sought after moment.  A moment that has eluded the populace for the past month.

The BeltTM will travel with Cal Lutheran to Saturdays game against.....Cal Tech!!!!

Wow. The Beavers have a chance to hold The BeltTM! Massey has Cal Lutheran with just a 77% chance of winning! How about that!

If Caltech pulls it off, this thread will see it's first ever full blown BeltTM-gasm.
