An Aaron Van Klaveren free-throw with 2 seconds left has given Cal Lutheran The BeltTM 47-46.

We should all rejoice as The BeltTM in its infinite greatness has chose this moment to take itself to our most sought after moment.  A moment that has eluded the populace for the past month.

The BeltTM will travel with Cal Lutheran to Saturdays game against.....Cal Tech!!!!

Only a Caltech BeltTM challenge could possibly overshadow Saturday's Calvin-Hope game. Touche BeltTM, touche.

Which leaves me with the every growing desire to have the ultimate occur at some point in my lifetime:

The Rivalry be a battle for The BeltTM

Should that ever occur, I would fear a cataclysmic event on the level of  "imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light."

I think that could be outdone if there was a return to D3 by the Undefeated/Winless board's favorite school, Maine-Presque Isle, and they were to battle Caltech for the BeltTM

Oh, dear God. That would be the most infintely ultimate thing ever.  ;)

A Rivalry battle for The BeltTM in Salem giving Calvin the opportunity to hang ANOTHER NC banner and Hope to hang ANOTHER runner up banner? I like the way you think.  ;)

And yet, ya'll are left dreaming about such inferiority.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a Patriots fan the other day. I gave my condolences for their Super Bowl loss, yet reminded him that us Lions fans long for that type of heartbreak.

And I thought it was just us New Yorkers that considered JJ a bad excuse for an owner. ;D Nice to see he doesn't play well in Texas either. :o

I rarely make predictions in BeltTM games. But I can feel this one. CalTech gets the BeltTM tomorrow. Fire up your bunson burners and wax your slide rules. It's going to be a wild night in Pasadena.

At least The BeltTM made it as far as Thousand Oaks, which is as close to Pismo Beach as you can get in D3.

If the internet can handle the demand, tonight's BeltTM encounter from Cal Tech
