Do you think that The Belt^TM would deign come to Texas?  This is football country!  (Howard Payne made special preparations for the The Sash^TM when they won in 2008, but It-ette^TM cringed at the thought of being paraded around Brownwood, TX on horseback by the Queen of the Brown County Rodeo.  It-ette^TM hid itself in a closet and never left Holland, Michigan!)
