I have question about grammatical propriety in the presence of The Belt^TM and how its activities should be written.

Since The Belt^TM takes great pride in its communication with the commoners it encounters, how do we correctly spell the possessive case of The Belt^TM?

The Belt's^TM
The Belt^TM 's
The Belts^TM (and foregoing the apostrophe)

or reverting to the exclusive use of the genitive case as translated into English,

of The Belt^TM

Given who holds The Belt^Tm and the likely hood they'll retain The Belt^Tm for an extended period of time, this may in fact be the most important conversation of the year.

I'll assume the match on 1/1 is a nontitle affair?  ...   Which leads to a darned good trivia question.. has the holder of the Belt^TM ever been defeated in a nontitle event?

Nova Southeastern is just part of the 'goodwill' tour.

The holder of The Belt^TM is never truly defeated, for once you've grasped its lustrous glory you are always victorious.  The Belt^Tm simply moves on to the ones it deems worthy.

That's never happened (if memory serves correctly), but not only has it (according to John's brain) never happened, I also don't think that The Belt^TM has ever gone up against a non-D-III team...

The possibility was discussed within the first few pages of the thread, but I don't know that it's ever been an actual... potentiality?
