After a month to mull things over, The BeltTm gave us this today.

Suffolk 85  Emerson 80

The smile on this man...woman......its face says it all.

Get to know the GNAC  http://www.thegnac.com/sports/mbkb/index

The BeltTm will have the opportunity to visit places like New Haven, CT., Paxton, MA., Providence, RI., Boston, MA., Newton, MA.,  Northfield, VT., Nashua, NH., Standish, ME.,  and West Hartford, CT.

Suffolk hosts its first The BeltTm defense Tuesday night when they host the Amcats of Anna Maria.

just fyi, the GNAC plays an 8 team tournament which means there are two men out at the end.

Interesting coaching ties.

Suffolk head coach Adam Nelson once worked for Emerson head coach Jim O'Brien at Boston College.

That's a crazy fluke.  Suffolk is terrible.  This has to be the worst team to ever hold the belt.

More evidence that The BeltTM decides where ItTM goes, not the players.

Those schools are like a mile away from each other.  There's not a lot of reason to switch arbitrarily.  I don't think Emerson has a law school, maybe the Belt is looking to do some graduate work?

Yes, The BeltTM is looking into suing you for the lack of acknowledgement of ItsTM trademark! ;D

(Usually ItTM just relies on the weasels, but this is personal. >:()

Suffolk retained The BeltTM last night with a dramatic 74-71 win at the buzzer.  It's probably not the first time The BeltTM has been won at the buzzer but its the first this year.

Sophomore forward Jake Meister was the hero as he drained his only 3-point attempt of the game with just 1 tick on the clock.

Through the magic of some kind of internet video wizardry I'm not familiar with this entire game is on youtube.  Enjoy!

Suffolk take The BeltTM and all its lustrous glory on the road to Johnson & Wales on Thursday.  The BeltTM title fights come fast and furious in the GNAC.

sac

Johnson & Wales 86  Suffolk  61

The Belt is off to Rhode Island.  Next game Saturday at home against Rivier.

Wildcat selfie I guess

Just Bill

I hope Johnson & Wales don't fight over the BeltTM. Between the two of them there's plenty of BeltTM to go around.

On the plus side, what we expected to be a boring BeltTM year has turned wild and interesting. Visiting new conferences that have never had the privilege of hosting the BeltTM.

So the question begging to be asked is whether our smallest state is big enough to host the vast awsomeness of The BeltTM

Is any state?

Having The BeltTM make the rounds of the GNAC is like carting the atomic bomb around the cobblestone streets of the Duchy of Grand Fenwick for all the peasants to see.

... or, for those of you who didn't enjoy the literary reference, it's like a roomful of preschoolers stealing a gassed-up chainsaw from their day-care center's gardening shed.

The GNAC isn't that bad is it??????  lol..

So JWU will retain the BeltTM, Until JWU plays Albertus on January 29.
