If Emerson would have won, would the Belttm be in the NEWMAC?

Having The BeltTM make the rounds of the GNAC is like carting the atomic bomb around the cobblestone streets of the Duchy of Grand Fenwick for all the peasants to see.

Do give my love to your president, will you? And Mrs. Coolidge too.

The BeltTM stays in Providence. Johnson & Wales 85 Lasell 73.

Next up is a a visit from Norwich University for Johnson & Wales.

I got to thinking tonight, its really to bad Johnson & Wales isn't playing Emory & Henry with The BeltTM on the line.

The Norwich Cadets mascot is known as Old Sarge

Old Sarge is a lot more serious these days as opposed to being the saddest mascot in the history of mascots..........also sorry random dude, blame google.

Sorry, but BeltTM matches are for basketball, not doubles tennis.

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

Apparently The BeltTM wanted no part of the starkness that a military campus like Norwich might exhibit and opted to stay in Providence a while longer. The Cadets fought hard, gave it their best shot (shots) but couldn't win the battle as they fall 65-61 to Johnson and Wales.

The Wildcats are kind of happy with the aura The BeltTM has been emanating while on exhibit at the Harborside Center Arena. The luster and glory of The BeltTM has drawn people from the entire state in such large numbers that the viewing hours had to be increased to a 24/7 operation.

The Belt'sTM next defense will occur on Monday, January 20th when St. Joseph's (Maine) invades Providence. I'm told that the Monks are hoping to gain possession of The BeltTM so that they may use its powers, in conjunction with the mystical powers of the relics of St. Joseph, that they also have acquired through the years. Earth shattering occurrences are quite possible should that pairing take place. This Monday may be awesome!!

Evolution of the Monks

Are we sure that the Monk's could truly appreciate the awesomness that is The BeltTM?  I mean look at them, using rope when a belt is appropriate.  On the other hand, should they win and The BeltTM grace them with ItsTM presence, at least they have hoods to shade their eyes.

Rivier is a University now, they spent a lot of money to update their logo

Oops. I missed that memo (just got the logo, didn't realize they were different). Must have gotten lost with the TPS Report memo as well.

As you can see, it was a pretty drastic change.

The Belttm heads back to Providence after JWU beats Rivier in Nashua today.
