I know I don't have anywhere near the influence or status as The BeltTM, but apparently I can effect one of the world's largest and richest soccer clubs and it's millions of global fans.  ???  ;D  >:(  ;)

Albertus Magnus successfully defended the BeltTM twice and will carry it into the Sweet 16 against Williams with Va. Wesleyan and Mary Washington next in line.

It gives me great pleasure to announce The Belttm chose to grace the world with one of its best the belttm finishes ever and will spend its summer in Wisconsin with the Warhawks and its little bro  The football belttm

It also gives me the chills to think that next Nov 19. the very first the Belttm contest of 2014/15 could very well be played in lovely Holland, Michigan along the shores of Lake Macatawa.

Nov. 19  Wis-Whitewater at Hope

This would be my first live chance to see the belttm.  In preparation I will be spending all summer staring into the sun so as not to burn my retinas with my first glimpse at itstm lustrous glory.

The Belt would look fantastic with a pair of these.

After a summer of ........... oh hell I don't know what they do in Wisconsin.  The BeltTM makes its come back Tuesday night with a trip to lovely Holland, Michigan where it will decide this years path between Whitewater and Hope.

In true Midwestern fashion the Warhawks brought The BeltTm out of storage and shamelessly paraded its lustrous glory in front of NAIA opponent Cardinal Stritch this weekend, virtually taunting them with the knowledge they could not have such a magnificent piece of wardrobe accessory.   The Fighting Cardinal Stritch's were so incensed by this shameless display of lustrous magnificence they went on to defeat the Warhawks 71-66.

As the teams proceeded to handshakes the packed Kachel Gymnasium crowd could be heard chanting "You'll never have the belttm, you'll never have the belttm".  Stritch head coach Drew Diener could be heard muttering "damn it they're right,  get on the bus guys lets get out of here, my eyes can't take this anymore."   He rubbed his eyes as if the object of desire was to bright, but we all knew he was weeping.

And so another group of NAIA misfits is left to ponder for the rest of the their lives #whydidInotgoD3

When that comes at you with a folding chair, you drop the belt and run.

Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries", I believe.

After all, Pat does have a spear and magic helmet (in addition to the metal folding chair).
