What we're really looking for this year is a picture of Sager with the BeltTm

I've checked the supply closet at the west end of the crackerbox, so I know that NPU's got the goggles and tongs for handling Thee Most Exalted Bespangled CinctureTM, as well as the special golden poles for carrying the Ark of The BeltTM, just in case the improbable comes to pass.

....visions of a shirtless Greg Sager floating on an innertube in Lake Michigan cackling as he smokes a cigar, sips a Budweiser, wearing his Cubs hat with the BeltTm straining at the waistline, its baubles and geegaws glistening in the summer sun.

Replace the Budweiser with a Fat Tire, and this could be a thing.

Also, don't forget to replace the Cubs hat with...pretty much anything else.

Speak for yourself, northb. If I'm the one who's gonna be on that innertube with The BeltTM around my waist, then I'll be wearing a Cubs cap.

Just looking out for you, Greg.  I'd be concerned about spontaneous combustion or something like that.  I think I saw this type of polarity happen on an episode of Lost in Space.  Almost killed Doctor Smith.

It's a question of balance, gentlemen. If I'm going to bedeck myself with Thee Most Exalted Bespangled CinctureTM, I have to pair it with something humble and commonplace. There's nothing more commonplace in this city than a Cubs cap, and heaven knows that there's nothing more humble in American sports than the legacy of the Chicago National League Ball Club, Inc.

You better wear three Cubs caps.

I don't see any reason why Mr. Sager can't wear a Cub cap, for a couple of reasons.

For one, the glare from, not only The BeltTM, but from Greg's bare chest, will no doubt shine over any dullness that Cups cap will produce.

Also, no one cares about the Cubs cap! Admittedly,  the whole "bare chest" thing might be a temporary distraction, but everyone will be pasting their eyes on The BeltTM.

It's kind of like when my wife is worried on how she looks in pictures. No one is looking at us, they're looking at our super cute 4-year old kid!  ???  ::)  :P

Nonsense. You appear to be at least 6 or 7 years old.

Ouch! I get carded for R-rated movies at Walmart,  been accused of being my wife's son and always win the "guess my age" game at the fairs/festivals.  They never guess within 2 years! Oh yeah, I can still buy clothes in the kid's section and I can fit a lot more clothes in one load of laundry than most!

Tom, I'm so glad that we're picking on you now instead of me. ;)

You should find it as no surprise, but just the mere mention of the Cubs and The BeltTM in the same sentence and the Cubs are talking World Series:

The BeltTM has finally decided that ItTM wanted a change of scenery and will head back with the Titans after IWU knocks off Augustana 89-84.

OMG - I was so excited about beating #1 on their home floor, I totally forgot about The BeltTM! :o  Defense will be difficult as we now travel to Elmhurst, but we shall humbly try to uphold ItsTM glory. ;D

If its scenery The BeltTm is looking for I'm not sure Bloomington would be my choice.
