Endicott up 12 with 4 to play in the 1st half.
Indeed! Endicott says, "Mine! Mine! Mine!"

The D-III Championship BeltTM changes hands, er, wings!

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

Perfect, I mean dam it.

Keith Brown puts his name among other legendary The BeltTm performers as ............. and .............   Brown lit up the Beavers with 45 points on 10-15 3-points shots.   We'll never probably never forget this great individual performance.

With Endicott now in possession of The BeltTm it seems appropriate to show the full mascot with capeTm

Its a nice belt but not as nice as the real thingTm.

Endicott's next game is a week from today as they host the Panthers of Middlebury.

I recently learned Middlebury has its own ski hill.

I don't think they've officially changed it.  Endicott only ever calls themselves the "Gulls" anymore, but I think it's still technically the "Powergulls."

But isn't that true of EVERY school in Vermont?! ;D

Better root for Endicott over Middlebury.  As of this morning, the NESCAC is a ridiculous 19-1 against OOC D3 teams.  If The BeltTM ever goes in there, we may never see it again until March (if then). :o

Endicott 78  Middlebury 67

The dam Belt stays in.....<checks internet>...Beverly, Mass.  Endicott will travel to another NE school location I don't know, Nichols, on Wednesday.  I bet they play hockey though

sac, you read that backwards - Middlebury won 78-67.  I'm afraid no one outside of NESCAC will see The BeltTM until March, if then.  NESCAC is currently 35-7 in OOC play.

I wouldn't be so sure.  They won't get into conference play until January and before then Middlebury has Skidmore - no slouch - York (PA), who's been playing great, and Swarthmore, a really well-balance, well-coached team.  If the Panthers can run that gauntlet, maybe there really is some supernatural mojo in the belt.

The Dam Belt committee will hold a disciplinary hearing for this heinous and egregious act against the Dam Belt and all its world wide fans.   God have mercy on my soul and may I rest in peace.......probably.

As I was saying...

Middlebury 78  Endicott 67      I'm positive Middlebury is not located in <checks internet>  Beverly, Mass.  Middlebury gains possession of the Dam Belt for the first time in its history  <checks internet>  <twice>  yes, yes it is.

An interesting tidbit of Belt history, other than the defending national champions no NESCAC team had gained possession of The Belt during the regular season until Middlebury

Middlebury will host Plattsburgh on Tuesday night.  I have recently learned Plattsburgh no longer goes by Plattsburgh State but then I forget things.  Anyway they're the Cardinals.

Middlebury 92  Plattsburgh 68

Middlebury travels to Skidmore on Friday night

Skidmore is (and I know this one) the Thoroughbreds

Not only is this a BeltTm match-up but both teams are undefeated and ranked   Middlebury 5-0 #2,  Skidmore 6-0 #16

sac

Middlebury 91  Skidmore 76

The Panthers will hold The BeltTm through Christmas.  They'll travel to Washington & Lee on December 29 where they will play York(Pa.) on the first night of a now much more important Holiday Tournament.

York Pa. is the Spartans (......which, ew.)  Their mascot is, well, see for yourself.......

The BeltTm heads to Eastern Pa. for the .....<checks internetz> first time.  (Well technically as they're playing in a tournament in Virginia this weekend, The BeltTm hasn't actually been in Pa yet.)

Yorkpa play the hosts Washington and Lee today in Lexington, Va and a whole lot of Civil War History thoughts just flowed through my brain.

Washington and Lee are not so shockingly the Generals.  I have no name for this mascot but its obviously "Lee"

This is also not a gang symbol

11-19-17  Endicott
11-26-17 Endicott Middlebury
12-29-17  York(Pa)

After today we're either locked into the ODAC if Wash & Lee win or the CAC if Yorkpa wins......to be honest I will never get tired of typing it Yorkpa so I'm kind of pulling for them and the potential for new belt holding blood.
