Mary Washington 88  Salisbury 82

The BeltTm has an affinity for being in the hands of teams with multiple road games.  Another roadie Wednesday as The BeltTm and its entire security team head to Nowheresville, Maryland and St. Mary's.

As we've already learned.   Sammy D. Eagle and Solomon

Ryan Scott (Hoops Fan)

I'd attribute a road in at Salisbury in this scenario almost entirely to holding the belt.  It's easily worth 7 point in context.

For anyone so inclined, rereading through this thread again made me want to check up on The Diva BeltTM thread, and update its history. It was significantly easier to put together than trying to do a retroactive history for The BeltTM thanks in large part to Thomas More and to a slightly lesser extent Amherst.

Mary Washington 68  St. Mary's 54

Mary Washington host Penn State-Harrisburg on Saturday........they are the Lions, because all Penn State's are the Lions

We've done this already and seem to be repeating opponents.  I believe we are stuck in some kind of BeltTm loop.................................<pause>.................nothing?

5 yr old me:  you have to say lion to everything I ask
5 yr old friend:  ok
5 yr old me:  what are you eating now?
5 yr old friend:  lion
5 yr old me:  what are you doing now?
5 yr old friend:  lion

  it was funny then

Mary Washington 91  Penn State-Harrisburg 70

I ain't lion.

Mary Washington heads to Frostburg State on  Wednesday.  Frostburg State once upon a time was considered to be in the Great Lakes Region, I laugh at this now but Maryland is in the Big Ten, which has 14 teams.  So yeah

Frostburg State is the Bobcats, his/her name is Bob E. Cat and its ...........

.......adorable

Two please

There's also the small matter that this game is a mascot match-up of Sammy D. Eagle and  Bob E. Cat   That is just so so Dam Belt'ishTm

sac

Either a game was snowed out or I can't read a schedule.   Sammy D. Eagle and Bob E. Cat square off tomorrow.

sac

Mary Washington 81  Frostburg St. 68

I watched a little of this one.  There was a commercial involving Smurfs.

Mary Washington goes on the road Saturday.........<checks schedule>, yes Saturday to Wesley College in Dover, Deleware.  Pretty sure this is The Belt'sTm first trip to Deleware.     How can it not be.

Wesley is the Wolverines, this is Wally

He's relatively new and replaced their previous mascot, also Wally, it kind of looks like a really happy Wile E. Coyote

Between  Wally Wolverine, Sammy  D. Eagle, Bob E. Cat the CAC is decently strong in the mascot category.

Just Bill

I'm pro-smurf in commercials. Anywhere else they make me feel blue.

I might have to go.  It would be my first in-person belt sighting.

I can see a future movie - Indiana(Ft. Wayne) Jones and the Quest for The Belt. Quick, while we still have Sean Connery and Harrison Ford.

Hey, the one time I saw ItTM in all ItsTM glory the only thing that happened to me was ItTM made me completely unaware of ItsTM existence. Though that would explain what was happening to the guy in the parking lot I saw as I was leaving the game that night...

So, I decided not to go.  Guess what?  Wesley wins the belt on a buzzer beater 3 from sophomore Brian Cameron.  I very much regret staying home.  But the Belt lives in Delaware!
