While teams in a conference are under no obligation to schedule in a way that helps the top teams in the conference, I like to analyze the effects of how teams do schedule in Non-Conference.

Goucher scheduled the 2nd easiest NonConf schedule in D3 WBB (#416 hardest). They are currently 5-0 in NonConf.  They are currently 233rd in NPI.

Wilkes scheduled the #328 hardest NonConf schedule, and is 0-6. They are currently 412th in NPI.

For the top Landmark teams, they would rather the bottom teams in the conference schedule more like Goucher and less like Wilkes.  From a purely NPI perspective, there is no longer any virtue in scheduling teams a lot better than you and losing to them.

 Lady Royals' opponent(Bethel) tomorrow(noon) in Florida defeated Amherst today 68-45. Game was FLO cast so the Bethel-Scranton game MIGHT be available to those who are Scranton FLO subscribers.
  Men are playing @ 2 tomorrow in the Albright tourney against Muhlenberg. It appears that it will be videostreamed.

I watched the Bethel/Amherst game.
Pretty good game in the first half then Bethel pulled away in the 2nd.
The Lady Royals will be broadcast as will all games in this tourney as long as you paid you Flo collector.

The best game I've seen in a while was last evenings Ill. Wes game vs Trinity Tex.
Trinity gave it their best shot but IWU just keeps coming at you.
When they need a three, it was there.
Need a steal, they made it happen.
Free throws, made them.
Up tempo, score.
Slow it down (somewhat)...score.
Defense...smothering.

Lady Royals put together one beautiful game both offensively & defensively.
This was a dominating performance & if they can bottle this for the next several months, they'll be in the thick of things down the stretch.

Congrats to the Lady Royals & coaching staff on picking up 2 wins in Daytona Beach.
Elizabeth Bennett had a great game today...showed outstanding post moves that were unstoppable by Colby inside defense, then she can go to the wing & drain 3's.
Kaeli Romanowski played defense like she was 2 people...had to have 10 steals in the 2 games.
Nice to see Maddy Ryan get some sprints in & her offensive rebounding ability hasn't been slowed one bit.
Take some time to enjoy Daytona & the wins as E-town is waiting in the wings.
Safe travels to Augie & Jerry and everyone in the Royal contingent.

 if I've ever seen one. Beat a very good Bethel (MN) team, 84-42, in Florida, forcing 26 turnovers and holding Bethel to a 14-of-43 shooting mark.

  They lost their best player(Julia Roth) in the 1st game of the season with an season-ending injury.
  Ronk's analysis: This probably switches Drew ahead of Susque as the best of the rest for the 4th spot in the conference playoffs.
