I was hoping to see Carthage(22-7) sneak in near the bottom, but their next two weekends (3 each vs IWU and North Central) to claw their way into the conversation.

A bit surprised that Carthage climbed into the mix after losing 2 of 3 at IWU last weekend. Big series between Carthage and North Central this weekend could push one of them out of the race.

Thoughts on the Central Regional? I have not seen any seeds yet, but I'd assume that either Webster of UWSP will be the #1.


My guess on the seeding:

though I can easily see #3 and #4 flipping.

My gut says Webster....  I'm sure they have something scheduled before the end of February.  It's just a matter or whether or not they get it in.

According to the CCIW composite schedule, Augustana opens the season on February 21st against Concordia Moorhead in Winter Haven, FL.

Not sure when their first game was, but see Webster is 2-3 after today's 2-0 loss to Buena Vista....
