We started a subject area like this last year, and it proved to be a big hit.
As readers find schools that post their 2008-09 schedules, post a link here.  Pat Begg has a tremendous program that makes us aware of them pretty quickly, but I think we helped him out a few times too.   It does provide a little ongoing interest through the summer months.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

hopefan

ok I'll be the first  -  remember Pat likes to see if tournament matchups are complete

Wheaton College is up  not complete

+1!  I agree.  I like the archive function that previous posts provide.

There is plenty of good stuff in the old posts.

It's a little early for my program, as most SID's are still working on the 2007-08 academic year. Most of the updating seems to start once the spring seasons are over.

Most of the updates at this point in the year come from obscure spots on the websites (press releases announcing next year's schedules, for example).

One of the questions always comes from changes in conference formats and scheduling. If anyone knows of any conferences that will be playing a different format next year, that news would be useful. For example. has anyone split into divisions (or recombined divisions); is anyone playing more/fewer conference games; how the CSAC (former PAC) will be structured; and so on.

We are wondering exactly that right now about the SLIAC  -  will Maryville, who has announced their intentions to move to D2, be playing a league schedule this year, and if so,  will the games count in the standings.....

Washington University has the schedule for their title defense up: http://bearsports.wustl.edu/mensbball/mensbballschedule.html.

It's complete with tournament matchups for the Colorado College, Anderson, Elmhurst, and their own (La Verne, Aurora, Eureka, and Hamilton, respectively).

The schedule rounds out with the local games against Webster and Fontbonne, and a trip up to Augustana.

Their other regional rival, Illinois Wesleyan, comes to WashU's Lopata tournament and so there's no guarantee that WashU and IWU will play each other.

Personally, I get to circle my calendar for January 30, when the Bears come to Brandeis and I get to see my old team, this time as defending national champions.

My understanding of the move to D2 is that the first year is status quo from a competition standpoint: they're still D3, all of their games count as D3. This is what happened with Lincoln. So I don't see any reason that they wouldn't continue in the SLIAC for 2008-2009.

Pat Coleman

Well, the SLIAC has a say in that also -- that's what he's getting at.

I think that the first matchup listed on the Wash U website may be in error, as my understanding is that Wash U will face North Park and host Colorado College will face LaVerne in the opening round of that opening-weekend tourney in Colorado Springs.

What the heck, I ran the program to see what I would get. There are 11 schedules without even trying. Wheaton IL and WashU as previously noted, also:

I'll do a second pass after I change all of the URLs that contain the year, and I need to check these for completeness.

From Titan Q's website, here's the Illinois Wesleyan schedule for next year.

Ok, lessee here, I should have Wooster's schedule doped out in fifteen minutes.  There's twenty teams already that I can eliminate...  ;D
