At the Tyler Run 5K yesterday, I saw a woman wearing a purple, gold & white Northwestern College Cross Country T-shirt. (That is how old the T-shirt is.)

I asked her, "Northwestern Minnesota?

"Yes", she replied. "I ran Cross Country for one semester. I like the T-shirt. How do you know that?"

I said, "I am a member of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and I cover UMAC baseball."

We had some "small talk" about the UMAC and then she  said, "Do you know Dave Hieb?".

I said, "I do not know him, but I know of him."

She said, "My husband played for him for 4 years."

Then they called us to the starting area.
