Jackpot at last Sunday's neighborhood watch meeting during Atlanta's mini-snow - Kenyon, Frostburg, Albion, Defiance, Wabash, COW, and Southwestern sweatshirts in same place - and all on alums!  Then there were all those d*** UGA and Tech hoodies as well.  As the Emmorhoids are but five minutes away, Emory and Aggie Scott stuff classifies as insignificant, ghetto wear here in da hood.  ;D

Do you guys tell them about the site? :)

Saw a Chapman window sticker on the way home today.
Couldn't tell them about the site (moving down the road at 65)  :P, but I do whenever I can.

Saw a couple college guys throwing a football on the beach at Hilton Head SC
wearing Albion football stuff.
Did not get a chance to talk to them, they were busy trying to impress a group of young ladies LOL. ;)

Now that is a spring break, weather was good.

I hit the links and stunk up the golf courses but it was better than snow and cold back home. I could have used another week to help the game and the tan.
The plane flight in is not very long, "room and board" is a little steep  ;D

HS sports championships and playoffs the last couple weeks, great watching and better than any Pro baskeyball game you will vere watch. HS Hockey and basketball playoffs are intense, local bragging rights are on the line every game.

i know i should be home and in church, and not working....

and i know i am in the milwaukee airport, so these don't count for much, but  I saw a feller decked out in a  Blue UW-Platville b-ball sweat suit, with matching UW-Plattville bag ( real real nice guy, we talked D-3...nice to meet him)

a mid aged man with a UW-Eau Claire T-shirt (he was in a hurry, so just exchanged 'howdee's')

these 2 were in a sea of red 'W's, red 'Wisconsin' shirts and pullovers, and a mixture of GB Packers & Vikings gear

Not a big deal seeing these in Waukesha, Wisconsin but after how the Indoor Track Nationals went I thought it was interesting. Saw a woman with a UW-Oshkosh sweatshirt on with her son who had a UW-La Crosse track jacket on. Both schools tied for the national team title yesterday.

I saw a Skidmore sticker in the back of a car on Carroll's campus in Waukesha, WI.

No shirts, stickers, or decals, but spoke to one of the local HS FB coaches at a track meet and he played at Simpson Colllege.

How often do you see shirts or other signs of D-III schools in parts of the country no where near the school?

Sorry AF4, I wasn't trying to be a party pooper. Was just going by this quote from the original post of this thread.

Yeah, I never count any of the D3 schools from Va. or Md. that i see near D.C. ... occasionally I might note a Gettysburg.

Anyway, it's been a while since I've posted ... I got five.

Renssaelear (better known to us as RPI, for good reason) on a car window at the gym in suburban No. Va.
Middlebury sweatshirt on a jogger in NW D.C.
UMHB sticker on a car window at the same gym
Colo. College hat on a co-worker
Wesleyan T-Shirt on a co-worker

(neither of those co-workers went to those schools, as far as i know, FWIW)

I know the I-85 runs near the Oglethorpe Campus, but that is in atlanta, ga, and isaw this in a home depot in Opelika, Alabama, yesterday (over 140 miles from oglethorpe)

a (probably) 20+ yr old feller, lots of body art on his arms (or 'tats' or 'ink') a black 'T' shirt that read " ReHab is for Quittors", and a 'Oglethorpe' turned around backwards ::)

awesome :o

Saw a very worn out UW-Stevens Point decal on the back of a car in Austin, Texas.

Had 3 Cal Lu shirts and a Cal Tech shirt in my AP Physics class today, I'm 300+ mile north. All 4 recently completed visits and will be attending those schools, two playing sports. One is a baseball player and one in track.
