I saw a woman in northern VA suburb wearing a WESTERN MARYLAND FOOTBALL sweatshirt this past weekend.  I asked her if Western Maryland was her college's maiden name, and she was clever enough to answer yes.  I convinced her to call the school (McDaniel) by my preferred nickname, Western McMaryland.
