I can tell you that what Hoop Dirt has is true... and that the third person who removed themselves was Pitt Bradford's Britt Moore. I have been told the offer will come any day to one of those gentlemen.

I don't know Enrico at all... but Mark is a good guy who has done some good things at Messiah - which is clearly a top-notch program. I think Mark would be a good fit and would do well. However, I am pretty sure he and Enrico are ones that will put in their time, help turn the program in the right direction, but will then be up for other jobs - just my educated feeling on that... probably to no one's surprise.

With three days until the start of practice for the 2015-16 basketball season. There were a few changes coming into the new season.

Chrissy Esbensen was named Immaculata's new head coach replacing Patricia Canterino.

http://www.gomightymacs.com/news/2015/8/3/WBB_0803152053.aspx

At the new Summit University(previously Baptist Bible College) Sherrie Holloway replaces Amber Jacobs as Interim Women's Basketball Coach

http://www.summitudefenders.com/news/2015/9/6/WBB_0906151230.aspx

Finally don't forget the new rule changes: 4 ten minute quarters, we've seen the end of the 1 and 1 with the women, with 5 fouls in each quarter resulting in 2 shots in the fifth foul(of course shooting fouls will be 2 shots if it's 1st to the 4th fouls), the back court 10 second rule and the advancing of the ball.

Let the games begin.

It might be a holiday for those romantically inclined, but it is also getting down to the end of the Division III basketball season. Just two weeks remain between now and the end of the regular season and nothing has been determined.

On Sunday night's Hoopsville, Dave McHugh will talk to some teams who have emerged from no where to be in a position to surprise when their conference tournaments begin. McHugh also talks to a few teams who can't seem to be knocked off their conference pedestal, but still feel they have something to prove. And the hectic schedule of conference travel can take it's toll.

Sunday's show start at 7:00 pm ET and promises to go well into overtime. You can watch the show here: www.d3hoops.com/hoopsville/archives/2015-16/feb14

Guests included (in order of appearance):
- Tara Macciocco, Marywood women's coach
- Dr. George Barber, Greenville men's coach
- Ruth Sinn, No. 8 St. Thomas women's coach (WBCA Center Court)
- Rusty Eggen, Northeast Region Report, WPI Sports Information Director
- Angela Santa Fe, Regis (Mass.) women's coach
- Andy Partee, Colorado College men's coach

The conference tournament starts Monday 2-22. Today will lock up the positioning. Currently Marywood and Gwynedd are tied. But the Lady Pacers are in the #1 position because they beat GMU earlier. Both teams will get a bye and host on Wednesday. Today's game is huge. Marywood hosts Gwynedd and will determine who gets the #1 overall seed.
The hosts for Monday's game are set. Cabrini is 3rd and Neumann is 4th. Lady Cavs and Lady Knights are tied but Cabrini holds the tiebreaker by beating Neumann in their only meeting. Cabrini travels to Maryland to play Notre Dame and Neumann hosts Summit. The last 2 in are Centenary and Rosemont. The Lady Cyclones hold the edge over the Lady Ravens. They beat Rosemont. Centenary heads to Keystone and Rosemont takes the trip up to Cedar Crest. Good luck to all the teams today.
