The CSAC has a couple of teams that are academically excellent. Centenary at #10 and Immaculata at #24. Congrats to both teams.

Lady Cavs played a heck of a game last night. Held Neumann to 11 points in first half and 32 in the game. Just stifling defense. They have Rosemont next who beat Marywood by 10. Saturday will be a good game at the Dixon Center. Rosemont has 2 players in top 10 in scoring nationally. To bad I have to work. Good defense(Cavs #8 nationally)can beat a good offense(RU #11), so they say.

The southern part of the conference is dominating this year. Marywood seems to be only team from the north who might make playoffs.

Yes good defense does beat a good offense. ;) Held RU's leading scorers to "only" 20 points each.  Lady Cavs get their highest scoring output since Nov 2011 and did hold Rosemont to their second lowest scoring output of the year. Up next for Cabrini is the lady Griffins of Gwynedd at Gwynedd, who won today over Baptist Bible 97-57. Playing for first place.

Looks like there is a huge divide between the top four schools (Cabrini, Rosemont, G-M, Marywood) and the rest of the pack.

Welcome to the boards pacerhorse. You are absolutely correct. I believe that Cabrini is the number 1 team, though. The other 3 are close. They are all have 1 loss. Rosemont and Gwynedd haven't played yet so I can't tell you who is better yet. Tomorrow Marywood travels south to Rosemont. That should be a great game and we'll get an idea who the better team is. I'll give it another week before I determine who is 2,3, and 4. It seems the south is dominating at this point. With both the Mighty Macs and the Lady Knights at 4-3, they finish the top 6, with Keystone at .500.

Lady Cavs win 15th in a row and clinch the number 1 overall seed. Rosemont is next followed by Gwynedd, Marywood, Neumann and Keystone. IU still has a chance but they need help. They need to hope that Keystone loses to either Cedar Crest or Centenary and then IU has to take care of their own business by beating Keystone on the 11th, beating Rosemont this Saturday on the road and Cairn on the 13th. If everything plays out the next couple of games the game between Gwynedd and Rosemont could determine the number 2 seed.

16 in a row for Lady Cavs on Senior Night. Congrats to Laura Caron and Melissa Kudzmas. Fine careers for the Lady Cavs.

One more day left and postioning is still up for grabs. Cabrini is locked in at #1. Keystone is #6.  Rosemont travels to Gwynedd. Winner gets a bye in first round. Loser plays Monday on their home court. Marywood takes on the Lady Cavaliers in Radnor. A loss and Marywood moves down to the 5th spot and will have to Travel to Neumann, who has the head to head against Marywood and Keystone. Good luck this weekend.
