I added the WIAC schools. Since there aren't enough icons to do a different one for each conference I decided to color code them based on region. I am working on it right now but probably won't finish since I have practice soon.

Very cool idea.  Nice work.

A friend recently pointed out to me that the first incarnation of the map is missing Christopher Newport.

I made a Google map for all the D3 schools too.  Its unlocked and can be edited by anyone who wishes.

It does not have street addresses or conferences.  Feel free to edit away.

Very cool.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Nice. I recently came across your map and decided to build one for SLIAC so I could plan my trips to the away games. It's a long haul from Georgia to Illinois.

Good work wdglide! :)

It appears both the wikipedia and Google map are inoperative.

I know we have/had one on the blog, but for quick reference, this was nice. I'm sure I have it saved, but just wondering if it was out there and had moved or improved.

Nevermind. Found it.

That is a pretty big difference to location when you actually see it on the map.  I always knew that DIII was dominate in the North East region of the US, but dang!!!  I especially like how Colorado College is just chilling in the middle all alone!

Map is outdated.  Colorado College Dropped Football a year or two ago.

And Eureka and Principia have discontinued football.  Huntingdon and LaGrange have been dropped from the SLIAC as that conference discontinued sponsoring football.

Castleton State, Anna Marie and the rest of the ECFC have not been configured.

And Menlo has moved to NAIA.

and if what 'seinfeld' says (with great conviction) on the NCAC board is true, DePauw is about to leave the SCAC for the NCAC.

I thought that might be a possibility after Earlham left the NCAC for the HCAC. Cuts down on travel and puts them in the same conference as their longtime rival Wabash.

That would make sense. Why fly to venues in Texas, Alabama, and Mississippi, when you can merely hop on a chartered bus to Ohio and Pennsylvania (though I'm told the rides back from Wittenberg and Allegheny aren't uniformly pleasant  :P)?
