I really wish Western had played a home-and-home with Albertus in 2011-12.  I think the season before that, Western won by 3 or 4 in Danbury in a very high scoring contest where Askew put up like 50 points.  Western was never in the game after the opening tip that year, I would've liked to see it again @ Western or even on a neutral court.

7, Albertus did play Western in 2011-12, Albertus won in New Haven by almost 20. I remember talking to GNAC after the game; we always use the Western game as a barometer on how good Albertus will be. Albertus started the 2012-13 season at Western with a win. Back to back win.. finally after years of losing to Western. lol.

The only in-state team Albertus played was Mitchell. I know Oliver likes to play in state teams, but not sure why none were scheduled.

Purchase may as well be a CT school anyways, since it's like less than a mile across the border.

You're right.. I would be surprise if they don't bring a good number of fans.

More exposure!

And now seeing it in the video (saw it on the AMC feed live), I have no idea why Eian got T'd up on that alley...unless he slaps the backboard with his right hand. Then I could possibly understand! Also curious as to how that scrimmage against ASA turned out last season. Besides Davis and Vic they had another kid (Daquan Brickhouse) who ended up at Coppin State.

He Lil Dave,

Albertus did not fair well... I'll leave it at that. (But, if the end result was a starting pg and c, then I guess we won).

Can't say I'm surprised haha

Does anybody else have a weird feeling about tomorrow? I don't want to say I'm nervous but the word "trap" comes to mind. Been thinking about the matchup and Lasell could definitely be that team that catches you by surprise. Especially in Newton Mass.

Only bringing it up because of what happened two years ago before Askew decided to put the team on his back and score what I think was 50+

This years Albertus team is far superior, but still you just never really know.

Is anyone planning on riding up to the game or at least watching online? If so a half time update here on the board would be much appreciated only because I wont be able to see or watch any of it.

I got ya junkie, I'll update you, I plan on watching online. And yes lasells coach always seems to give us fits with the D he decides to run. And this team is improved. But, and pjunito said this about lasell last week too just like you, we are still albertus and I think that gets us by. But can't deny that I'm right there with you

D3HoopJunkie

Video not ready, girls game was on just fine. I think it is pre-game and they will load it right before tip...

Saint.. Good win by the Emmanuel today, I know you will have a write up for us. I didn't think they could win at Suffolk. But, good job for those kids.
