Also I want to point out quickly that this is NOT Price is Right rules for the final score. You CAN go over so it does not matter if your total is over the actual final. Whoever is closest will win the tiebreaker.

Attempted to watch the ST Joe / JWU live stream but St Joe was charging $10.95 to see the game. Who do they think they are, Amherst ?? So I switched over to watch the AMC game. I was really surprised at how easily AMC scored on Lasell. It appeared that they could get to the rim any time they wanted. With that kind of quickness and foot speed I was very surprised that Lasell didn't try to step in and take charges off the AMC dribble penetration. I liked the Lasell game plan, 5 - out motion into a dribble handoff, run shot clock, slow the game down, but then at the end of the shot clock Lasell couldn't make any shots. Every time they missed an open 3 pointer or missed a penetration layup AMC would just grab the rebound and run down and score. I guess the GNAC was really a 3 team conference this year after all. Good luck in the championship game.

Hahahaha let him sit alone in last. I like what 7 does in the LEC and puts lines on the games. So I'm gonna do that now. Gonna put the line at Albertus -7 1/2

Is D3hoops sending a crew down to broadcast the GNAC Championship between Albertus an St Joes?? I know 2 years ago you sent one down for the Albertus vs Anna Maria Championship and was wondering if you were doing the same for this year. If so hopefully it is Frank Rossi. (I beleive that is his name) That guy is as good a play by play broadcaster you can get IMO. His call with the buzzer beater at William Paterson was unreal.

Junkie I think I heard JWU play by play guy say during JWU vs AMC that he would be doing the conference final even if JWU wasn't there. Not sure if that's a Gnac thing or a d3hoops broadcast

Falcons go in and handle business and do exactly what was expected of them to do and that's WIN the GNAC Championship. Just total domination by Albertus. This team on their home court is as good as anyone in the country and I haven't posted one remark on the regional rankings the past few weeks or commented on any remarks made by other posters from other threads. Let me say this; this team is fully capable of beating any team in the Northeast and Country. The fact that the NCAA chooses to just look at numbers like SOS W/L% of opponents is a joke. I totally understand that this is D3 and it is very tough because of either money or other factors but these people need to see teams play in order to pass fair judgment. I am well aware that if the Falcons hadn't won there conference they would NOT have gotten a Pool C bid because of these factors. For a team to be ranked 14th in the country and not make the tournament is an absolute joke. I know the national rankings don't mean anything for the committee so then why waste time and put them up. Its just ridiculous. Even Joe Lunardi from ESPN would be scratching his head.

I just needed to vent a little their LOL. Nothing against other teams in the Northeast because like Albertus it is totally out of their control but I just think it is a royally flawed system. What gets me most upset is the fact that their regional ranking is going to cost them a chance to host the opening weekend and I just think that is so wrong.

The scheduling for Albertus isn't their fault either. Coach Oliver knows the ins and outs better than any coach in the country. Western, Trinity they wouldn't play us this year. I am almost certain that Oliver has contacted a number of NESCAC schools and every time they shy away and don't want to play Albertus. No one wants to lose to a GNAC team and that's unfortunate. This team is not hiding from anyone and everyone is about to find that out next week.

St. Joes really let me down. I knew Albertus would win, but I put my 66 total on the fact St. Joes would get in the mid 60's to high 70's. Congrats to the Falcons! With WPI & Babson both losing in the NEWMAC today and Eastern currently trailing by 9 halfway through the second, AMC would've been on the outside looking in come Monday afternoon. Glad to see they took it out of the NCAA's hands, and got the bid themselves!

Everyone chose the championship correctly but there can be only one winner and that is Albertus2007 who won the tiebreaker against me (D3Hoopjunkie). The total combined final score was 133 and his guess of 148 was far closer than mine of 163.
