Love that Larsen line LilDave. He is so steady. Just one of those guys you feel comfortable with. WPI's defense was very impressive. I knew that was their niche but wow. They don't let you breathe, they get right up into you and slash into every passing lane. They face guarded Darius the entire second half and they did an excellent job of shutting him down after the tremendous 1st half he had. It was a hard fought victory!

Big rematch today. Should have never happened but thanks to the NCAA it will. Joke

Lasell beats Nichols, they are playing for an ECAC titke tomorrow.

JWU has a 35-26 point lead at the half..

Would be great to have 2 GNAC teams in ECAC championship game

Do you know if Sheehan played for Nichols PJ?? I know in the first round against Plymouth on Wednesday, he only played 6 minutes, so I think he got injured. If he was out, not surprising that Lasell won, if he was back, great win by the Blazers!

7, Sheehan played 25 mins scored 27 points. Impressive win by Lasell.

Congrats to Mitch Oliver and Darius Watson. Mitch has finally gotten to the sweet 16. Darius really wanted this one making some tough shots. He had 4 fouls and blocked Neri's dunk attempt cleanly. Just a great effort by the senior!

I believe they play Williams next. Not sure where, but I am sure the falcons will be ready to play.

7 or Hoops, do either of you know the last time a GNAC team made the Sweet 16?

Just off the top of my head (out right now) I'd imagine vic would be on Mayer and either Lemar or Darius would be on Robinson. Almost 100% positive he's not their biggest guy.

To Pj, GNAC, lildave and Hoops Junkie, Congrats on Albertus advancing to the Sweet 16. I watched them play several times this year and was impressed with their game. I did think that Purchase was going to win with the game in their house but not surprised that the Falcons pulled it off. I'm happy for you guys.

I'm thinking that the sectional might be held at Mary Washington in Fredericksburg Virginia.

With Williams, Albertus, Mary Washington and Virginia Wesleyan in the sectional the only two schools that could host and won't involve a flight are Albertus and Mary Washington.

Mary Washington has the 2000 seat Williams M. Anderson Center. That's where I think it will be held.

What a win. Words just cant describe how hard this team works and how good a Coach Oliver is. What a victory. Cant wait to keep going. That was awesome!!!
