Can you guys find out why we no longer have video feeds for home games? I tweeted at the AMC Athletics account during the game Tuesday but got nothing back.

LilDave,  just talked with someone and it sounds like an IT issue at the college.  They are trying to fix it.

Hey Guys, been very busy so haven't had a chance to post lately. But I was at the Purchase game as well as the Anna Maria game and I will say that this team is beginning to gel more and more. The Purchase game certainly was close but I never felt threated in the game and they were just a hungry team trying to avenge the multiple losses from last season. Their star from last season Dixon was also on the bench as well providing a lot of positive energy so it was a very emotional game for them and they stepped up as best they could.

It was certainly rough going to start in terms of TO's and lack of team cohesion but Eian and Sledge are beginning to learn how to play together more and more. This team will be ready to go come tourney time. I am a huge supporter and got a little carried away myself in the beginning with regards to expectations. I forgot to keep in mind that teams with new pieces (especially a piece like Sledge) take time to come together and learn how to play with each other. Perfect analogy would be the Miami Heat in King James first season.....if I recall they lost 8 of their first 10 games. I trust completely in Coach Oliver's system and YES the TO's need to stop and team defense absolutely must improve but I know they will be ready. This team is too talented and to passionate about this game not to.

Hoops Fan, great pickup their on the teams effort in getting Big Vic the ball. I think your 100% correct. He is getting more involved and seems to be helping out the guard play a ton. He is simply too good down low for the majority of D3 low post defenders to guard. At a legit 6'8 with the angles and moves that he is able to score from not to mention his ability to knock down shots from the outside I think he just might be the toughest low post matchup in D3 this season. Very underrated as a passer when the double team comes as well......he is typically able to pick up either Eian or Sledge cutting to the hoop which 99% of the time results in a basket or trip to the charity stripe.

Saint- Great updates as usual, hopefully the Saints can figure things out for the players and programs sake.

Tonight's contest with JWU should be a fun one!!!

Also, I just glanced over the Mount Ida vs JWU box score. Anyone know why Quarry Greenway didn't play? Is he hurt? Maybe a team violation? I for one hope he plays tonight. He is without doubt their best player and it would be a much more beneficial game if we play them at full strength in my opinion.

Anyone else trying the broadcast and getting an error? Both mobile and on my desktop.

Finally working...albertus knows we're in the 21st century right? Looks like I'm watching my old home videos lol

lildave678

Oh my god, did that just happen? Please tell me there's decent video of the posterization, the dopey foul, and then the long court pass that never works lol

D3HoopJunkie

LilDave, you absolutely saw correctly. I was at the game tonight and I must say that Sledge dunk was hands-down the most amazing dunk I've seen ever! Someone please tell me there's video of this because it would no doubt be a top SportsCenter Top 10 play. Not mention the play Coach Oliver drew up to end the game. Wow what an amazing play and better shot by Kyle Wiggins who came off the bench cold after not playing a single second in the entire half.

I'm not even going to get into some of the things I thought the team could've done better. I think they just need to enjoy this one because they earned it. This JWU team knows the Falcons better then any other team in tge GNAC. This was a huge victory. Also marks 44 in a row at home to i beleive which is the longest streak in the nation for any division

Albertus2007

Tavon Sledge is a human highlight reel.  That dunk was the best in game dunk I've seen live at any level.  The kid is 5'8!!!

Also, how about the block on the JWU dunk attempt when it seemed he could have touched the top the backboard and what looked to be a fast break dunk for JWU when he came out of nowhere for a steal.

Hoops Fan,  Albertus was trying to get the ball down low to Vic all night and it worked for the most part.  But JWU did double team him a lot.

Albertus2007

Anyone have any information on why Shaq Mitchell hasn't played for Albertus?

lildave678

I'm curious as well...heard whispers about him not even being on the team/in school and then low and behold he's on the opening day roster but not playing. Perhaps he's not eligible until the second semester? Could you technically be on the roster now then though?

Albertus2007

Shaq suited up last night but never entered the game.  Wondering if he is injured.

falcons2010

Message for Pat or Dave.. Please ask someone at Albertus for video from the Johnson and Wales game on December 4, 2014. A buzzer beating 3 pointer to win the game and maybe the most Athletic Dunk, I have seen in person at the 2:45 minute mark in the second half.

Albertus2007

Falcons2010,  Tavon Sledge's dunk came with under a minute left.
