I'm not asking you to do anything, I just disagree with your points. Thanks for the update on what hypocrisy is though. No one cares if you give albetus respect, I just like to let you know when you are wrong on them. At the end of the day I get to watch albertus with or without your opinion on Albertus. If you can't take the back n forth then stop posting

He can't really be "wrong", since the things on which you disagree are pretty much opionions/speculation.

I think the joke about soccer was misinterpreted as serious since you hadn't really developed a rapport with Dave as a buddy who likes to rib each other in good fun.

As for the knock on Women's athletics; that's just lame man...

Nice to see the Falcons back on the blowout trail. Emmanuel IS better than Mt. Ida but this team constructed as is (read as: without James) is night and day without Julian.

lildave,
WTNH TV8 New Haven again, doing a great job covering the Falcons, most recently saw the coverage/highlights of exciting OT game with Emmanuel.  WTNH, the only Sports report that gives love to D-III teams and teams, other than UConn.... Yale, Quinnipiac, Southern Connecticut, WestConn... which is refreshing and totally interesting to watch.  Hope AM keeps up the winning, (except vs ECSU of course), wins the conference tourney and does damage in the NCAA's!!!

Hoping for the same! Yeah the Sportzedge does an excellent job covering them. Seems like they kinda disappeared for a bit during the middle of the season but now that they know about the home winning streak they're covering them much more consistently.

I'd love AND hate an AMC/ECSU NCAA tournament game!

With the last Saturday looming upon us, much of the GNAC field is set.

Albertus, JWU, Anna Maria, St. Joe's and Lasell make up the top 5 regardless of the outcomes this weekend as each spot is separated by at least two games. Emmanuel is currently slotted 6th at 6-11 and then Norwich, Suffolk, and Mt. Ida all reside at 5-12. I'm not sure how the tiebreakers work but I imagine some movement can take place among those teams pending the results. Suffolk and Emmanuel play which looks like the biggest game in terms of the tournament.

Saint-Paul

Watched the Lasell win over Suffolk last night and was very impressed with the Lasell offense.  Once again Lasell was in double figures with the 3 ball, hitting 13 threes on only 24 shots.  The interesting part is that all of the Lasell threes come out the flow of their offense, they are not forcing any shots and rarely do they shoot a 3 in transition.  They are getting open 3 looks from good down screens, quick ball reversals, and especially dribble penetration kickouts.  I watched the game closely to see if they were just jacking up shots and they were not, they actually do a very nice job of running their sets.  The are playing hot right now with recent wins over Anna Maria, St Joe, and now Suffolk.  I believe that win last night gives them sole possession of the 5 th place spot.  Nice recovery for Lasell after a rough start to the season.  Playing your best basketball at playoff time always keeps the playoffs interesting.

Different Subject ; finally got a chance to watch the last 2.6 seconds of the AMC / Emmanuel game that was shown by the news team since the live stream camera didn't pan down court. There were TWO opportunities to take holding fouls on that play. One when Victor was jumping to catch the inbounds pass, and two when Sledge was cutting from the half court line to the wing on the arc.  Massive coaching blunder that cost his team a chance to beat a nationally ranked team.

Same time post!  ;D

It's not lame, it's the truth. Barely anyone cares about women's sports. Everyone is so soft now a days. No one really cares about somens sports, compared to men's.

And nobody really cares about d3 basketball compared to d1, and nobody really cares about d1 basketball compared to the NBA, and nobody cares about the NBA compared to the NFL, and nobody cares about the NFL compared to professional soccer. So the only legitimate sport is pro soccer. Remind me why you are here again?

Ferraro13

No, not really a valid point when the nba and nfl bring in billions each yr. solid effort though. Just here to remind ppl who are offended by comments such as, "no one cares about women's sports," that they are soft. Enjoy your weekend though

Ferraro13

And with that said, albertus holds the current longest streak at home, in all of d1 d2 d3

But the Amherst women hold the current NCAA record at 109 straight I think.

Final regular-season game of the year today as the Falcons take on the AMCATS at 3 PM in Mass. I think this will be a competitive game in the 1st half an maybe early on in the second but once Albertus puts a little run together late in the 2nd I think we put this one away. We are just a better overall team and while Anna Maria went on a nice run for a while, they have certainly come back down to earth as of late.

D3HoopJunkie

Ferraro13, give it a rest already. There are a lot of people out there who care about womens sports. Just because you dont doesnt mean others share the same sentiment. And beleive me I love the Falcons!! I'm with you!! I think they are vastly underated all the time by people and get no respect come tourney time. I have had a few exchanges with Dave on here about the Falcons and we obviously had differing opinions but thats what they are. OPINIONS. Nobody is right or wrong. Whether your joking or not joking doesnt matter really, don't call guys out for having a different opinion on something then you.

At the end of the day Dave and Pat and all the guys at D3Hoops.com do a ton for us the fans to be able to enjoy D3Hoops. Hell you wouldnt be on these boards postings if it wasnt for them. Just because we believe in the Falcons doesnt mean everyone else will. But this year starting Tuesday night in New haven, we will make them start believing. And if you asked Dave I gurantee he would say he hopes we make him a believer too.

Like Shaq and Kobe, just bury the hatchet.
