They prob won't and it'll be a shame if not. Just makes zero sense to me. They should be a shoe in. Yea I get all these SOS numbers and what not, but Albertus is a top team this region and nation. Anyone who has seen them plays knows this

If they're the best team in the region, they won't lose tomorrow.  Plain and simple.

I was thinking the same thing listening to Dave talk on Hoopsville about how Albertus wouldn't want the home game Thursday since they might have to play Randolph Macon in the second round.  I don't think Albertus is scared of anybody - nor do I think they should be.

Well honestly, my point was they deserve a better road in the tournament than through the best team possible (based on geographical limitations) in the first or second round is what I was getting at - just not saying as well.

True enough, although I really think those guys could care less.  I don't know if they'll win, but they're certainly good enough to beat anyone.

Hoops I'm usually in agreement with you. But not on this one. JWU is a solid team no matter how good Albertus is. One loss doesn't erase everything else they've done this year. well only to the PPP that matter, the selection committee

Well Stevenson won their ECAC tourney... but since the best of the rest don't always compete in those and it isn't like the NIT (the ECAC is two games over a weekend and there isn't a signla champ)... that isn't a good comparison.

I agree, the #7 shouldn't be left out on the ground they are that highly ranked in a Top 25 poll - but you will be searching for a very long time before you find where the Top 25 has anything to do with NCAA criteria in any division (though, I always suspect there is a D2 sport I am forgetting)... but they have to help themselves... they aren't doing that.

By the way... there is a chance they get in as an at-large despite the SOS. There is always a chance and it shouldn't be ignored. It is just a tough chance.

By the way... #14 Capital was left out of the NCAA tournament in 2002, though they had a few more losses. Pat reminds me Capital ended up #8 in the final poll!

Although my opinion has been voiced, basically Albertus needs to just get it done and win later today! I get it, I'm just stubborn.

They're a great team, but with the losses they've suffered, they need to beat Albertus at least once to prove something.

falcons2010

A few hours away. Very excited for the game.

These teams play each other tough; they have a lot of veterans and guts. Single possession game both times.

Quarry had foul trouble both games, Albertus was outrebounded both games. I would like to see the refs let them play a little. I think Saunders will be the difference; Albertus needs to shoot 40% from behind the arc today.

Let's go Falcons!

Dunk Haven baby!

Can easily sat I'm no less nervous today than I was at the first title of this run way back when against Emerson. If I recall didn't we split with them that season and then wrecked them in the Nest for the title? Hopefully it's a similar outcome today - two close regular season games and then the Nest gets to JWU!

Yeah just went back and looked, we each won on the road - Emerson beat us by 1 and we beat them by 2.

Today is the day!!!!!! Lets go Falcons!!!! You have worked too damn hard to let anyone take this from you!!! This is going to be a fantastic game!!! The crowd will be nuts. It's a white out so make sure you wear white!!!!

Dunk Haven!!!! WhiteOut The Wildcats!!!

Someone should make a sign "If your at The Nest it's too late".......yes guys I know Drake.......But only because of College Gameday LOL and I certainly won't be the one with the sign.

Albertus is at their best when they stuff the ball into Vic.  However, from the first two minutes of this game, it's very clear that's a bad idea against J&W - at least until they're in a little more foul trouble.  #shoottheball

Greenway just got his third foul in the first half.  This game is over.

Hey, so watching this game - why couldn't Albertus line up a few rows of chairs behind the benches to add capacity?  It seems like there's plenty of space there - even bring in a small set of bleachers or something.

Well, it seems all our arguments were for naught.  Albertus wins (or at least they will in 20 seconds).

I've never seen a human jump over another on an alley oop in person. That's all I have to say about the game...

Just kidding, once I get home I'll post my thoughts! Go Falcons!
