Bridgewater is definitely in the drivers seat after beating both salem state and blowing out worcester state in worcester.....the game of the week though is tomorrow night against Westfield though because they have already lost to them once.  Although I think Westfield will be surprised because they are playing a Bridgewater team that is now playing up to their potential and at a whole new level.

All-around

Yes this should be an interesting game. If i recall westfield blew them out last time, however as you said i think BSC is a much improved team. This well definitly determine the 2nd place team tonight, and a team that could possibly beat out ssc for the NCAA tourny this yr.

All-around

Westfield sweeps BSC for the season series to take sole posession of 2nd place. SO much for bridgewater being the best team.

Well maybe Salem will back into another title after all.

Actually bridgewater can still get the two seed if westfield loses to salem and worcester again...so hopefully tyson comes back for worcester and they'll take that game.  Worcester and Salem are the only two strong teams Bridgewater has left to play.  And if you were at the game or looked at the stats you would know that other than D-Thomp no one played well and they still led for most of the game.  The seed doesn't matter because as long as the Bridge makes it to the playoffs they have a chance to beat anyone and I think they proved it by beating Salem even though they lost to Westfield again.

All-around

Looks like Westfield may be legit for the 2 spot. They will play SSC on tuesday, what a big game that will be....always tough to win at salem though. If westfield wins, there will be a tie for first place.

Westfield took care of salem state in salem tonight, 88-73. WSC came out storming and led by as many as 20 in the first half, before going into the half with an 11 point lead. Junior pg Gavin Illangakoon exploded for 39 on 11 of 16 shooting. The spread was cut to 6 with about 9 minutes left, but westfield pulled away down the stretch. Westfield is now in sole possession of first place in the MASCAC at 7-2. Salem fell to 6-2 in conference. Eric Downie dropped 20 for the vikings.

617primetime

Worcester state got a hardfought overtime win, 77-71 over visiting Framingham State tonight.  Guard Ryan Hopkins scored 26, and big man Winfred Rambert had quite a game for himself with 20 points and 19 boards, 11 offensive. Junior 3 man Derek Wigman dropped 26 for the rams, playing all 45 minutes. Senior captain Tony Washington added 14 off the bench. WSC improves to 5-4 in the conference while FSC slips to 3-6.

617primetime

No surprise here as Bridgewater ran over MCLA 97-62. BSC had five players in double figures, paced by Derek Thompson's  21 points in 21 minutes. BSC improves to  6-3 in the MASCAC.

All-around

This may be the time for westfield to win. However they will have to win in the tournament, and would most likely not get an at large bid.

All-around

Whats up with the MASCAC this year, wow. Both salem and westfield loose. Why is it that westfield seems to never win in the first round of the playoffs? And how does salem have so much talent and loose by 15?

Wow, Bridgewater to the dance?  I so called that back in November, too bad I thought I was wrong last week.  Oh well.  Congrats.

Westfield was overated and played like the know how, that's why they lost.  Salem on the other hand might as well be the And 1 street team because they don't play like a team.  In the end even with Downey scoring 40 they still couldn't pull out a win without a supporting cast.  I'd also look for the Bridgewater WPI game to be a good one cuz BSC was missing Lang and did not have Roland at the time.  Their a completely different team and I think they proved it by beating Salem and winning the championship.

Bridgewater is good, but I'm not sure beating WPI, who is actually playing well right now, is in the cards.
