Bridgewater (7-3) slaps Westfield by 15, big game for Soph. Roland Millien with 14 and 16.  Salem (8-2) wins easily at Lasell. Looks like a possible two horse race already...

heythere

i wouldnt count westfield out already, they have salem this thursday lets see what happens there first. Westfield as a very good starting 4, there bench really hurts them

mattapn02126

yeah definitely a big game on thursday. bridgewater lost to endicott, who is down this year. if salem plays together, they should run the table, theres some talent on that squad.

Bridgewater tops MCLA 82 -73. Monster games from Adam Rose and Derek Thompson who combined for 49 points and 20 rebounds. Damn. BSC improves to 3-0 in the MASCAC and 9-4 overall.

Fitchburg (3-10) goes down 74 - 63 at Wheaton (8-6) despite 20 and 7 from Brian Torres.

Um.  I'm not sure beating MCLA by 9 is something to brag about.  I'm just saying.

Actually MCLA is better this year.

They picked up Dave Bisesi who was in the regular rotation for Potsdam when they went to the elite 8.  He's averaging around 20, with a high of 47 in a quintuple OT game vs. SUNY Maritime.

They also picked up a juco shooting guard at Mid-semester, Jared Martin who is avaraging around 12 since joining the team in mid-semester.

They have three legitimate scorers, so anyone taking them lightly (e.g. Framingham last week) may be surprised.

All-around

Looks like Salem is the Cream of the Crop in the Mascac this year.

Gr8Day2BaBear

first of all mcla is not better then ya think....bsc was missing star shooter and mascac leading scorer (tied with downie) tommy cuddihy....not only that but the 9 point win did not show what really happened in the game because bsc led by high double figures until mcla started jackin up 3's all day and gettin a few to make it look close

second of all i think u gotta wait til after next thursday to say salem's on top because westfield is not good this year....so until salem beats bsc or the other way around there's nothing to be said....and if cuddihy's not back healthy for that game then u really can not say anything yet
