Congrutulations to UWW on a great season.

Wish you could have pulled this one out, but nothing to be ashamed of.

I could be wrong, but isn't there a 3rd/4th place game tomorrow to be played?

27 TOs sure doesn't help the cause.  Plus, HPU 14 more field goal attempts and made just 3 less shots.  HPU had 21 offensive rebounds as well.

Oh well, congrats to WW and hope they can get a win tomorrow.

HOLLAND, Mich. – Howard Payne (Texas) University went more than five minutes without a point to start the game, but bounced back to defeat the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 69-59...

Howard Payne missed its first 14 shots from the field, but trailed only 3-0 before Meia Daniels hit a 3-point shot to get the Lady Jackets on the board with 14:46 left in the first half. A 10-2 run, capped by Elaine Hobbs' 3-point play, gave Howard Payne a 27-17 lead with 4:55 left in the first half.

Be interesting to see how WW bounces back today and plays the 3rd place game.

Wow.

Yeah, after the first 5 minutes, I wondered if either team would make it past 50.  However, after the slow start, both teams picked up the offense.

So what's more crazy?  3-0 after 5 minutes or the fact that HPU got off 14 shots.  On that pace, they would've gotten a Grinnell-style 112 field goal attempts!
