No, it's not.  It's not great either.

Average score the last five meetings in LX, SP 58, LX 57.6.

Point has 3 wins, 1 by single digits 2 by double digits.  UWL has 2 wins, 1 by single digits, 1 by double digits.  Advantage is clearly in points favor.  You don't do combined points to determine a W/L advantage.

If a team averaged 58 points a game for a season, it would have been good for dead last in the WIAC this year, and 8th place the four years before that.

Well UWL was worse than 58 points on average so they must really suck...    

About the returners, since only four have playing time in a game won at Mitchell, I am going to assume that SP is going to play more than four players that game.  That means at least 5-6 players who are going to play have never experienced a positive experience there in a win.

This whole part of the discussion is ridiculous.  I'm not going to even waste anymore time responding to this tripe.

I wasn't backing it up, I was destroying it...   A 3 game win streak is not relevant.

And I like how you say we h'llave to look at history, but you decline to look at recent history at Mitchell.  What is more important, things that happened 20 years ago or things that happened in the last couple years?  I think it is obvious. 

If recent history is just one game, I concede and call you a winner.

Personally, a streak of one game is not a relevant statistic.

Hard for her to start a good program maybe?  Got handed a pretty darn good program at Oshkosh and did some good things there, including a couple sweet 16s and conference titles.

Following in the footsteps of the men's program the UW-Whitewater women's wheelchair team is already establishing itself as a national power.

The UWW Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team had great success at its regional tournament last weekend at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The women walked away from the tournament with four wins and one loss. The team is the third seed for the 2010 National Wheelchair Basketball Association's National Championship tournament April 7-11 in Denver.   The single loss was to #1 nationally ranked University of Alabama 71-58.  Wins included a 37-35 victory over the University of Illinois and a 76-41 thrashing of the University of Arizona. 

The UW-Whitewater women's wheelchair basketball team has been in existence since 2008. All members of the team have a lower body disability that prevents them from playing able-bodied basketball. Some of these disabilities include, but are not limited to, spina bifida, multiple knee injuries, cerebral palsy, amputation or paralyzation.

Off to college? Cuba City head coach Jeff Pustina's daughter, Kaitlyn, will be a junior on the UW-Platteville women's basketball team. Her team has a coaching vacancy after Tina Kuhle's contract was not renewed after six years.

Is there any interest on Pustina's part, especially with Cuba City senior Emily Kaiser headed to Platteville to possibly play multiple sports and senior Katie Langmeier thinking about it?

"I'm going to enjoy the night tonight and see what happens," Pustina said Saturday. "There isn't anything in the works or anything. Right now, (coaching Cuba City) is what I'm doing and I intend to do this until something comes up."

I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, but it sounds like he is pretty interested in the job, but doesn't want to turn anyone off.  There wasn't a definite no in going to Platteville.  Makes a lot of sense.

Some how I doubt Vegas has a line for "Small town high school championship coach bolts for last place D-III coaching job".  But if you find one, put me down for $50.
