Though it will interesting to find out who will host the sectional of UWW, Stout, Transylvania and Hope. I think Transylvania could host again but that means Stout has to fly in but I could also see Whitewater or Hope hosting since in theory everyone could bus to either site. (Transylvania 486 miles to UWW/495 miles to Hope)

The Sectional will be hosted at Wisc-Whitewater!

Voice of the Titans

All 3 in the Sweet 16! Stout is on quite the run, WW gets to host, and UWO gets a flight to Maine! Can all 3 make the Elite 8?
We started that WRST Sports sh**.

Wow would that be something, 3 WIAC in Elite8. Wish we were in 3 different brackets.

These are 3 tough matchups though.
Definitely good look for the WIAC conference.

Any scouting report for a player from Colorado? Interesting to come from Oshkosh to Colorado.

Who from Oshkosh is going to Colorado?

Miss post as it was really meant for men's thread.

Well...Oshkosh picked up a transfer today from St. Thomas and Appleton East, Sammi Beyer.

The WARHAWK women open the season with a pair of wins over the weekend defeating #24 DePauw 64-58 and lakeland 78-35.  After building a 16 point lead in the third quarter the WARHAWKS had to hold on as the Tigers rallied in the fourth though the lead was never fewer than six points.  Despite a slow start Saturday the WARHAWKS had little trouble with the Muskies holding them to 35 points.  Kaci Carollo led the WARHAWKS in scoring with 19 and 18 points respectively.  Maggie Trautsch added 11 against DePauw and Mallory Oloffson scored 10 against Lakeland.

Stevens Point also participated crushing Lakeland with a 101-64 drubbing before being drubbed themselves 69-47 by DePauw.

Do any of the WIAC volleyball teams have players that play hoops after their season ends?

Speaking only for WW, no.

Seems UW Stevens Point is a winner this year.  Where is everybody?

Yes.  Basketball is basketball.

The WARHAWKS got balanced scoring from the starters and seventeen players saw action as they beat 5-5 Anna Maria 76-50.  Forcing 32 turnovers which included 21 steals from 7 players the WARHAWKS led from start to finish.

Scoring: Carollo: 12; Oloffson: 12; Trausch: 10.  Carollo also pulled down 9 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and had 5 of the steals.

The WARHAWKS take on Lycoming (1-8) today to wrap up their trip to Daytona.

I've only seen the Pointers twice so far and it was a significant contrast.  They crushed an overmatched Lakeland team and put 100 on the board.  The next night, against tougher competition in DePauw, they struggled and lost by 22.
